For my friends-
I have attended CPR classes over the years, but was never told this particular scenario. I was told that when your body starts sweating profusely for no apparent reason followed by what feels like a spasm at the end of your esophagus, that is your body’s warning sign.

When you are alone and have a heart attack, what are you gonna do? A really good post that can't be shared often enough:

1. Take a 2 minute break and read this:
Let's say it's 5:25 pm and you're driving home after an unusually hard day's work.

2. You are really tired and frustrated.
All of a sudden you experience chest pains. They are starting to radiate in the arm and jaw. It feels like being stabbed in the chest and heart. You're only a few miles away from the nearest hospital or home.

3. Unfortunately you don't know if you can make it..

4. Maybe you've taken CPR training, but the person running the course hasn't told you how to help yourself.

5. How do you survive a heart attack when you're alone when it happens? A person who is feeling weak and whose heart is beating hard has only about 10 seconds before losing consciousness.

6. But you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and very strongly! Deep breaths before every cough. Coughing should be repeated every second until you arrive at the hospital or until your heart starts to beat normally.

7. Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs and coughing movements boost the heart and blood circulation. Heart pressure also helps to restore a normal heartbeat. That’s how cardiac arrest victims can make it to the hospital for the right treatment.

8. Cardiologists say if someone gets this message and passes it on to 10 people, we can expect to save at least one life.

9. FOR WOMEN: You should know that women have additional and different symptoms. Rarely have crushing chest pain or pain in the arms. Often have indigestion and tightness across the back at the bra line plus sudden fatigue.

Instead of posting jokes, you're helping save lives by spreading this message.

These fluffy dogs are basically science experiments with paws.

Doodles did not appear by accident. They are created by crossing a Poodle with another breed, most famously a Golden Retriever. That first mix is called an F1 Doodle. It blends the intelligence and low shedding coat of a Poodle with the friendly personality of a Golden Retriever. The result is the lovable Goldendoodle people everywhere cannot stop posting online.

Things get even more interesting with the next generations. If an F1 Doodle is bred back with a Poodle it becomes an F1b Doodle. That extra Poodle DNA often means curlier coats and less shedding. Breed two F1 Doodles together and you get an F2 Doodle. Each generation can change the coat texture size and even how much the dog sheds. This is why some Doodles look like fluffy teddy bears while others look more like shaggy retrievers.

Wolves never eat corpses—neither of animals nor humans. They spend their entire lives with a single partner, never mating with their mother or sister. Monogamous by nature, they do not cheat. If a partner dies, a wolf remains alone. They know their young intimately and are the only animals that care for their aging parents, even bringing them food.

When a wolf is killed, it gazes into the eyes of its killer until its final breath. Wolves are said to be 25% smarter than dogs and cannot be fully trained like domestic animals. They think, dream, make plans, and communicate with remarkable intelligence, making them more like us than any other living being.

He had just delivered the final verdict in a horrific animal cruelty case. But he couldn't go back to his chambers until he visited the one victim who wasn't in the courtroom.
Judge Martin Wallace was a 30-year veteran of the bench. He was known for being stern, fair, and almost impossible to rattle.
But the case of "Finn" had kept him awake at night.
It wasn't just neglect; it was a deliberate, malicious act. The dog had been found chained in an empty apartment after neighbors reported a smell. He had been left with no food or water for weeks. The evidence photos of the emaciated animal were something Judge Wallace couldn't shake.
Today, he had delivered the verdict, sentencing the dog's abuser to the maximum penalty allowed, his voice booming with cold anger in the courtroom.
But as he slammed his gavel, he felt no victory. He just felt the crushing weight of the dog's suffering.
He didn't go to his chambers. He didn't even take off his robes. He walked past his stunned staff and drove his own car to the county animal shelter.
A vet tech met him at the door. "He's very weak, Your Honor," she warned. "And he's terrified of everyone. We haven't been able to get him to respond to much."
She led him to the medical ward. Judge Wallace looked into the kennel and saw a frail, skeletal pit bull, who just stared blankly at the wall.
The judge unhooked the kennel door and slowly knelt on the concrete floor.
"Hey, buddy," he said softly. "I'm Martin. I'm the one who... I'm the one who heard your story."
The dog, who hadn't moved for anyone, slowly turned his head. He shakily got to his feet, all ribs and bones, and took a wobbly step forward.
Then, to the vet's astonishment, the dog crept into the judge's lap, let out a long sigh, and began to gently lick the tears from his face.
"Oh my... he can't get enough of you," the vet tech whispered.
Judge Wallace, the toughest man in the courthouse, wrapped his arms around the frail dog, his voice thick with emotion. "I can't get enough of him, either. Look at this face."
He buried his face in the dog's neck, not caring about the robe.
"You're safe now, pal," he choked out. "You're all right. It's all over."
Judge Wallace visited Finn every week during his recovery.
Two months later, Finn was finally cleared for adoption. The shelter was flooded with offers, but they all knew there was only one person he was going home with.
Judge Wallace signed the final papers, and the dog who had been left for dead walked out the front door, right into his new life.
