To all the wonderful moms — to humans and dogs alike — Happy Mother’s Day 🧡🐾

Whether you’re packing lunches, tossing tennis balls, cleaning muddy paw prints, giving late-night cuddles, or simply showing up every day with love and patience… you are appreciated more than you know.

The bond between people and their dogs is so incredibly special, and I feel lucky every day to be part of helping strengthen those relationships through training.

A lot of people think socialization means more interaction…

But too much excitement around people or other dogs can actually lead to frustration and reactivity.

Proper socialization looks like:
✔️ Calm exposure
✔️ Clear expectations
✔️ A dog that can just coexist

Most dogs and owners struggle with this, and that’s okay!

That’s exactly what we work on in training. 🤩
