At Walmart, I noticed a man with a cart full of groceries and said, "Wow, you're buying a lot for Thanksgiving!" He smiled and replied, "Actually, I'm donating all of it. There's so much negativity right now—I felt like I needed to do something positive to help."

This is a great way to help ease the strain facing people impacted by the SNAP funding lapse. Food, water, and housing are basic human rights. Mayor Dickens is working to ensure water and housing remain intact as folks struggle to keep food on the table.

THIS is what real leadership looks like.

It was a LONG day. Got to the airport at 5a, took off at 7a, got luggage, grabbed a taxi, got thrown up on (Hazel was motion sick, I think). Checked into the Ronald Mcdonald house, then went to storage, then to the hospital until about 5:30p, then walked back to RMH, then back to storage and then back to RMH 🥴😵‍💫.

Hazel is doing well. Feels good. Playing. Weighs 9.1kg today🎉🎊. Today was day 1 of chemo. Tomorrow is both chemo and immuno.

Please pray Hazel doesnt get diarrhea like she has the last few times. It is so so so bad. Poor girl! This is the reason we are still keeping her on the TPN. Between the RIDICULOUS loose stools(like 20+ times a day) because of the Irinotecan chemo and the fact that she stops eating all together for 4 or 5 days...we still have her on TPN. 😔 I would love for her to come off of it. Just trying to figure out timing and what makes sense for Hazel.

It was a good 2 weeks home! We got to celebrate our sweet Titus turning 3! 🥰.

Thank you for your prayers. God is answering. 🥰 She looks so good. I'll update throughout the week. I appreciate you all so much! I cant wait until Hazel is older and I can tell her about the thousands of people that pleaded on her behalf!
