Manager Ben just called to inform us that absolutely NO labor will be taking place on Labor Day. 🐾😂

🇺🇸 We will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th.
Please call ahead for any medication refills or appointments your pets may need.

Couldn't agree more! We are stoked to see our community coming together to support such an important mission. Congratulations to Lumpkin County Animal Shelter employees and to Wayne Marshall on their new adventure! It really takes a village! Thank you Rebecca Babcock and Red Barn Animal Hospital for always being respectful, supportive, and for welcoming us to Dahlonega with open arms seven years ago! We look forward to working together in making our community a better place! 💙❤️

🚿🫧 Our new dog bath is officially open... and Ben was our very first patient! 🐶

Don't worry—we're not getting into the grooming business! 😄 This bath is here to help us keep our hospitalized patients clean and comfortable if they have an accident, get messy after surgery, or just need a little extra TLC during their stay. ❤️

Ben was the lucky guy to give it a test run, and we'd say it was a splashing success! 🫧🐾

Today was a BIG day for our community! 🐱❤️

We were honored to partner with the Feral Cat Program of Georgia and the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter to spay and neuter 40 shelter and community cats during our very first TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Day—and we hope it's the first of many!

By working together, we're helping reduce pet overpopulation, improve the lives of community cats, and prepare shelter cats for their forever homes. Every cat altered today is a step toward a healthier, happier community.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible team of veterinarians and technicians. Your skill, dedication, and teamwork made this day possible. You all absolutely rock! 💚

And to our community—please continue supporting your local animal shelters. Together, we can make a lasting difference, one paw at a time. 🐾

While mom heads out to find food, dad spends over two months standing in the freezing Antarctic winter, carefully balancing and protecting his egg without eating a single meal.

And you thought staying up with a newborn was tough! 😆

Here's to all the dads who sacrifice, protect, and show up for their families—whether they're wearing a tuxedo or not.
