Our beautiful guests from these past two weeks 🥰🐾!!

Friendly reminder: It has been burning hot outside these past couple of days! Always make sure that your dogs’ water bowls have fresh and cool water ready for them to remain hydrated at all times. You can even add a couple of ice cubes to their water bowls. Remember that dogs do not sweat like humans do to cool down. They can overheat in a matter of minutes.

FYI:

Frozen bananas, carrots and blueberries are healthy and tasty snacks for dogs to cool down!
A few watermelon chunks are also a safe and low calorie snack with lots of water content!
Frozen bone broth cubes (for dogs) are great for pups who are not the biggest fans of water!
Frozen plain greek yogurt (preferably with zero sugar) cubes or even mashed/mixed banana/peanut butter cubes are also yummy snacks!

These pics are from our most recent daycare and boarding pups at SG&B 💚🐶🐾. Thank you so much for your trust and for the opportunity to meet and take care of your babies. This past week we welcomed a few older pups boarding for the first time in their lives, as well as several young puppies who are just beginning to learn how to socialize with other pups. We love being part of both their ‘first time away from home’ experiences and their early socialization. Which is why we always move at their pace to keep things positive and low-stress, focusing on gentle introductions, supervised play, and plenty of rest so both our older dogs and puppies build confidence in a safe, controlled environment 🥰.

It’s such a wonderful sight to see the pups left under our care run around, play with their toys, and make new friends. But some of our favorite moments — and what makes us feel so fulfilled — are when they feel safe and comfortable enough to just stretch out on the grass/sand, roll around, or lie down under the shade of a tree to rest and relax while enjoying the sun or a sudden breeze. Which is also the beauty of being able to provide them the time and a space with real grass and with other dogs that share their temperament and size or even their own space if they feel more comfortable on their own.

Coincidence or fate 🤔🐾? This week we’re having the pleasure of taking care of 3 beautiful small Aussies. 2 of them are new faces and 1 has been under our care for several times. All 3 are here at the same time and have bonded like 3 fated friends 🥰. 2 of them even share the same name 🤯💚!! It has to be fate 🥹🐾🐶.
