Subject: Frisco Resignation from Southern Comfort
The purpose of this letter is to let you know that Frisco’s last day at Southern Comfort Stables will be on December 30, 2020. We are paid in full through December 31, 2020. We have been boarding at Southern Comfort for one year now. Our family has had an amazing experience and we have spent practically every Saturday at the barn. In all those days, there was not a time that we didn’t see Eduardo or Dede working diligently to take care of the facility in whatever capacity was needed. Frisco’s stall has been kept immaculately clean, and he’s always had fresh water, hay, supplements, grain, blankets in the winter and everything else he’s needed. Having the level of quality care for him has given our family a chance to relax and enjoy having him versus having to worry about him in our absence – which unfortunately is what many people experience when boarding horses. The level of care that you provide is amazing. When we were at Southern Comfort, we always felt that we were at home among friends.
Dede has done an amazing job of taking care of him, and I can’t emphasize this enough. She has done a stellar job of making sure that he has had the best of care, and it is duly noted. Whether it was working to get his shoes just right so that his feet weren’t sore, keeping weight on him by introducing Beet Pulp Pellets into his diet, bandaging, handling the vet calls, hauling him to and from shows, or whatever else was needed, we always knew she would take care of it. We never worried about him because we know how much she loves Frisco and the rest of the horses that she looks after.
Tammy, when we spoke on the phone some months back, I was candid with you in sharing that we got Frisco for our daughter. We promised her that we would support her dream of being able to keep him and show him until she became pregnant with her second child. She is now 5 months pregnant, and her father and I have fulfilled our promise to her. She just finished her sixth horse show this year, and we feel very blessed that she was able to be involved in showing again after her son was born, but before her daughter is due in May of 2021. These are memories that we will cherish always.
If I could rate our experience at Southern Comfort, I would rate it a 10 out of 10. 2020 has been a really tough year for all of us, but I have to say that it has been one of the most fulfilling years of our life in that we were able to enjoy spending time with our grandson while Layne rode. It was a win win I must say. It was a bucket list check off for me personally.
I hope that I have adequately conveyed the level of appreciation that we have for the wonderful care Frisco has received. Thank you so much! I would recommend Southern Comfort to anyone looking for a top quality facility, and Dede for anybody looking for a top quality trainer. I hope that we would be welcome to return at some point in the future. Thank you very much for your consideration in this matter.
