👑 Every Diva Deserves a Throne... Could Adrienne's Be in Your Home? 👑

I'm Adrienne, and I'm a DIVA!
I am 3 years old as of August!
I am a beautiful girl, and I know it. I love to be brushed, and I have a special brush that my Mommy and Daddy use to brush me every day.

When I was about 3 weeks old, my leg was broken. This was before I got into rescue. When the rescue group found me about a month later, my leg had already started to heal. The vet didn't think I needed to have my leg amputated.

It doesn't slow me down. I just walk a little differently.

I would love a home where I can be the only girl... your little girl!

Please consider adopting me today. ❤️

My name is Minute. I was found when I was 4 days old turned in at the pet store. My mom, well my foster mom, took one look at me and said you're no bigger than a minute! That became my name. Oh I was a bottle baby. I needed round the clock attention, slept with my mom all the time so she could make sure that I was okay through the night and I got fed when I was hungry. Then I got this nasty thing called ringworm this skin condition, all over mine face in my head. Well I made it through that. But I just wasn't growing, it's not that I wasn't hungry, I ate. I slept a lot, but I ate. I didn't have a parasite which would have kept me from gaining weight but my mama was concerned. She thought it was the inevitable FIP. My stomach started filling up with fluid and then she knew. She's put me on medicine before I even got to the doctor appointment two days later. They ran their test and it was confirmed that's what I had FIP. Wet FIP. $500 plus later I am on the road to recovery! My mom thinks I'm going to make a full recovery. Today I even woke up and I felt like playing with the other cats. I haven't done that in a while. I'm hoping that you can help me help my mama raise money to cover the medical bill that we just had to pay at Cypress Fairhaven. Any donation big or small is of course greatly appreciated! Please help! She saved my life more than once! And once I'm done with this medication I will be available for adoption, but it's going to be a couple months.
PLEASE DONATE today!
Please put my name on any donation so my mom knows!

Today is one of the last opportunities to complete Harris County’s FY2027 Budget Priorities Survey, and this is one of the few direct opportunities residents have to influence how county funding is allocated, including funding for Harris County Pets and animal welfare programs.

Harris County is one of the largest counties in the United States, yet Harris County Pets operates with one of the lowest levels of animal shelter funding (per capita, per square mile served, and per pet intake-- three ways to measure budget to scale) among large municipal shelters in the United States. of any large municipal shelter in the country. That level of funding simply does not match the need. It makes it harder to provide quality care for homeless pets, recruit and support foster families, market animals for adoption, expand lifesaving programs, provide adequate staffing, and improve outcomes for the thousands of animals who enter the shelter each year.

If you have ever:
• fostered a pet
• adopted a rescue pet
• volunteered at the shelter
• rescued a stray
• networked an urgent animal
• reported loose animals, cruelty, or neglect
• worried about pet overpopulation in our community
• cared about the lives of homeless pets in Harris County

…this survey affects YOU.

Harris County leaders need to hear that residents believe animal welfare should be a higher budget priority!

When completing the survey, please consider making increased funding for Animal Services and Harris County Pets your top priority for the FY2027 budget.

A few important notes:
• You must be a Harris County resident to participate.
• The survey closes Friday, but no closing time has been announced, so please complete it as soon as possible.

It only takes a few minutes, but a strong community response can make a real difference when budget priorities are discussed.

The animals don’t get a vote, but we do. ❤️
