Meet Cash — a striking double registered Tennessee Walking Horse and Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse gelding that turns heads everywhere he goes. With his golden palomino coat, bold dun stripe, long flowing mane and tail, and naturally smooth gait, this coming 7-year-old dunalino gelding is the kind of horse people stop and stare at. Standing just shy of 15 hands tall, he is the perfect size to easily mount while still taking up plenty of leg.
Good looks alone don’t make a great horse though — and Cash has the brain, temperament, and versatility to back it up.
Cash has spent the last year proving himself to be the kind of horse that is willing, dependable, and happy to meet you wherever you are. One minute he’s loping after cattle and helping sort cows, and the next he’s quietly packing around an 11-year-old girl while she tests out every bit of horse-crazy shenanigans she can think of. Anna absolutely adores him because nothing seems to rattle him — he simply takes everything in stride and keeps going.
While we never advertise any horse as ā€œkid broke,ā€ we will confidently say that Cash is a solid, trustworthy mount for someone who knows how to ride and wants a horse that will take care of them. He’s the same horse every single time you take him out, whether he’s riding out alone, leading a large group, bringing up the rear, or cruising quietly on a loose rein down the trail.
Cash naturally performs a true four-beat gait that is incredibly smooth and comfortable for long days in the saddle. He is relaxed, easy to ride, and enjoyable to spend time with both on the trail and around the barn. He has a smooth, relaxed lope, a good handle, and rides willingly without being hot or anxious. He currently rides best with direct rein control, though we continue working on neck reining and moving off leg pressure. With continued riding, we fully expect him to master both in the near future.
He may not be what some would call ā€œfancy broke,ā€ but what he is… is honest, steady, and reliable — the kind of horse most riders spend a lifetime hoping to find.
He has been trail ridden extensively through mountain terrain, exposed to cattle work, camping trips, and busy group rides, and he continues to step up confidently to every new challenge we introduce him to. New obstacles, traffic, commotion, rough terrain, gun fire, and all types of farm equipment are things Cash takes in stride with a willing attitude and level head, as you’ll see throughout his video.
Cash is also a complete gentleman to handle and be around:
• Stands quietly to tie, saddle, bathe, and body clip
• Sidepasses quietly to the mounting block, log, or fence for easier mounting
• Excellent for the farrier with no special treatment or maintenance required
• Keg shod and travels comfortably through rough terrain
• Loads and unloads easily in both step-up and ramp-load trailers
• Stands quietly on a high line while camping overnight
• Rides quietly alone or in groups
• Happy stalled (he keeps a stall immaculate) or turned out
• Very easy to catch and will often meet you at the gate when it’s time to come in and eat
Cash is up to date on vaccinations, Coggins, dental care, and farrier work and is ready to go enjoy immediately.
At only 7 years old, Cash is truly just entering the prime of his life and has the talent and disposition to make someone an exceptional long-term partner. Horses with this combination of beauty, natural gait, quiet disposition, and real-world experience simply do not come along often.
If you’ve been searching for a dependable, eye-catching trail partner that will safely carry you down the trail all day long while looking good doing it, Cash is absolutely worth your attention.
Cash is located at Stillwater Farm and Arena in Cynthiana, KY. We welcome anyone seriously interested to come meet, ride, and try him out before bidding.

Meet our 18-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding in that eye-catching classic champagne color—don’t let the age fool you, he didn’t get the memo and sure doesn’t act or look it. He may not be winning any beauty contests (due to the missing mane situation šŸ˜‚), but he makes up for it where it counts. He’s a solid trail mount with that Tennessee Walking Horse gait that’ll keep you comfortable all day.

We foaled and raised him ourselves and he’s been part of the family ever since and has been ridden by Clinton’s dad, but standing just shy of 15.2 hands, he’s gotten a bit too tall for Charlie these days.

He’s not fancy broke, but he absolutely gets the job done. He’s seen plenty, doesn’t spook much, and while he might give something new a second look, a little reminder gets him right back to business.

He’s about as low-maintenance as they come—no special feed, supplements, or fancy shoeing needed. Loads in both ramp and step-up trailers, stands for bathing, and actually enjoys being clipped (which is ironic… since there’s not much mane to work with).

Now, honesty time—catching him can occasionally turn into a bit of a discussion. Most days he’s easy, but some days he’s got opinions—but the more consistent you are with him, the better he gets. We currently bring him in every morning after turnout and he’s usually more than happy to come in and eat.

Located in Cynthiana, KY. We welcome anyone with genuine interest to come meet him, ride him, and see if he’s your kind of horse. He’s ready for someone who wants a steady partner, a smooth ride, and maybe doesn’t mind a horse with a little less hair and a little more personality. He is up to date on all vaccines, coggins, dentals and farrier work.

Well… she made us wait, but she delivered exactly what we were hoping for. šŸ’™

Marelynn welcomed a beautiful blue roan filly overnight Thursday—and I honestly couldn’t have placed an order and been happier with how this one turned out.

We did have to step in and help pull her, but both mare and baby did great.
Baby’s bloodwork is back and her iGg levels are right where they should be, so now we get to take a deep breath and just let her grow.

Next step will be sending off hair for DNA testing… and we’re crossing our fingers she comes back homozygous roan šŸ¤ž

That piece matters for us as we continue to build our breeding program—because our goal isn’t just good-minded, naturally gaited horses… we want them to have the kind of eye-catching color people are looking for too.

This filly checks a lot of boxes already.

Now the fun part begins—watching her grow and figuring out who she’s going to be.

Alright, help us out—

šŸ‘‰ And for my horse people… what do you think—did we hit the jackpot with this cross? šŸ‘€
