Guess what time it is?! ⏲️

It’s time for you to take a trip to Black Dog Baking Company to grab a yummy treat, sandwich or baked good and also see our BRAND NEW business cards! 👩‍🍳🥖🍞

This is our favorite stop each week between jobs to grab a bite to eat. It’s such a yummy and wholesome bakery! The owners are incredibly kind and so good at what they do! We appreciate them so much for allowing us to have our cards out. If you haven’t been here’s your push to go check them out and our new business cards!

Our favorite options are the Ceddar bagel turkey sandwich (the everything bagel is amazing as well), the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, and the sourdough is phenomenal! Oh and also don’t forget to grab some of their shortbread cookies! SO GOOD with a cuppa tea or coffee!

Our good friend is also obsessed with the broccoli melt! 🥦 We promise you won’t be disappointed!

Summer is here and those temperatures are feeling HOT! 🥵 ☀️

We will always do what we feel is best for us and your pups to ensure everyone’s safety! With that being said some walks may be shortened as we see fit due to the quickly rising temps each day as well as the rainy weather we will be getting! 🌧️

One thing we are best at is listening to the cues your dogs give us. 🐶🐾
If they want to go in, we listen.
If they want to take a break in the shade, we listen.
If they want to lay down, we let them.
If your pup isn’t feeling the rain, we will go in.

We will never put your dogs or ourselves at risk just to get the long walk in. We love providing other ways to stimulate their minds. A treat search, playing with toys, training recall work, giving pets and love, brushing your pup, etc are all ways we help fulfill your dogs needs during our visits 😊

Summer reminders for your pup:
🚰 keep your dog hydrated but do not let them drink to much too fast
🐾 watch your dogs paws on the pavement and stay off asphalt- if you wouldn’t walk barefoot your pup shouldn’t either
☀️your dog may love to bake in the sun, this could get dangerous as dogs don’t know how to look out for their wellbeing themselves. Make them come in and take breaks.
💇‍♀️ if you have a long coat breed- do not shave them because you think they are hot- their coat is designed to keep them cooler
🌲after you do come inside- do a tick check! They are worse than ever! Please keep your dog protected

SUMMER IS HERE! 🍉🌻😎
We are so HAPPY to be out on the town working in the sunshine (as long as it’s not too too hot out for the pups!)☀️🐕

As I’m sitting here getting some rays of sun I was reminded by my own personal schedule that summertime plans sneak up on you, if you’re anything like us- you have plans booked out for the next 3 months with all the holidays, birthdays, boat outings, camping trips and summer vacations happening! Be sure to book your petcare ahead of time to set yourself up for success! 🗓️✅

Our schedules are FILLING UP FAST for June and July specifically! If you’re thinking that you need pet care for JUNE AND JULY- SCHEDULE NOW!

We are also booking now for AUGUST-
New clients-please email us and current clients put your requests in with sufficient notice!

We will always do what we can to make it work for you but we can’t always with how large our workload is.

We look forward to booking your dates with our team!

It’s time to Pre-Book your pet care! 🐶🐱📆
Don’t forget about your pets needs when planning a trip.

If you can pre-book flights and Airbnb stays, you can prebook your pet care! It’s just as important as booking everything else that goes into traveling 😜

Our rule of thumb is to book any needed sleepovers 1-3 months in advance. Book bulk visits 1-3 months in advance(3+ visits a day for more than 2 days) Book single visits with at least 2 weeks-1 months notice.

Our books fill up FAST! 💨🗓️
If you want locked in pet care you don’t have to worry about then don’t wait! 😁

This goes for our company but also all the other pet care businesses! Boarding & Daycares too!
