We had a very exhausting but wonderful weekend with my girls and their ponies. We hauled to the Flying M, played with the horses here at home, made some progress on the tack room and more organization in the barn, hauled just down the road so they were able to take a nice little trail ride. I got to hang out with my adorable little great nephew while his amazing dad fixed my quad for us, and got to curl up by the wood stove and snuggle with the pups. I may not be able to ride but seeing the smiles on their faces and being able to at least haul for them and watch them having so much fun is definitely the next best thing. Besides I’m definitely not ready to trade our new trailer in for a 4 horse yet lol. ryann_raffelson rebekah_piland Rebekah Piland #𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓼𝓸𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓶 #𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓯𝓮 #𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓼 # ❤️

We hauled the three boys to meet up with Adira (Zoey) and had such a great time with four spicy redheads and their equally feisty girls riding on this beautiful evening. They rode in the arena, around obstacles, around the track and just enjoyed a fun outing. The new owners have breathed new life into this iconic facility that we have loved coming to for so many years. They have done a wonderful job of keeping so much of the history and just improving what is needed and it is looking absolutely fabulous inside and out!

A weekend of sunshine, kids and ponies. It’s so fun that Marley and Adira (formerly Zoey) have lessons together. The girls love riding together and reuniting with Marley’s only foal he sired is something pretty special. And finally giving Ice a little time in the sun confined to the driveway from stall rest. Lilly is supposed to be supervising but I think that gets into way more trouble than he does. And make it easy to want to have a

A day spent with family, fury family, fine w**e and lots of charcuterie. It might not be how we used to celebrate thanksgiving because it will never be the same without mom, but we learn to create new traditions and memories with the people we love and that is a a lot to be thankful for. **e

You came to us so broken, it took almost a year of love and respect and trusting before you would greet us instead of hide in the corner of your stall. But you were the one that healed us. You raised our girls that fell in love with you as taught them patience and understanding and unconditional love even as only a pasture pet. You were about 12 years old when you came to us and as the years went by you touched so many lives and stole the heart of every girl that came into our barn. You were our Marleys best friend for nearly his entire life and he misses you so much he breaks our hearts all over again, especially when we think of him saying goodbye and not understanding why his brother won’t get up and play with him. And even more when we saw the understanding in his eyes that his best friend would no longer be running by his side. But I think in some way he knows that he is no longer in pain and running free with all of the other that have come before him. 14 years still wasn’t enough and you are so missed. We also had to lay to rest my nieces sweet mare on the same day. She was her everything and we are all lost with out them both. But the next day during one of the worst storms we have had in a long time, (that managed to hold off until we said goodbye) there was a brief break and when we looked out there were two full rainbows across our pastures. Almost a sign that they were together and made it safely across that bridge 🌈🐴💔♥️
