Our 5-year-old pair of caimans are really starting to settle in and enjoy their new habitat! 🐊

With the season slowing down, we’re back to work refreshing exhibits and making improvements as we get ready for another summer season.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us this summer. We had an amazing time meeting so many of you, sharing stories, and sharing our love for these incredible animals. ❤️

What started almost 10 years ago as a crazy idea has grown into something so much bigger — a place with a purpose, built around caring for amazing creatures and providing a home for the animals that need one.

The majority of the animals that call this place home were donated or surrendered to us over the past decade. Each one has a story, and each one has helped make this place what it is today.

We have no idea what — or who — might find its way here in the future, but we’re excited to see where the next chapter takes us. 🐊❤️

That’s an exciting milestone! 🐍 Twelve beautiful babies from the first clutch, with another 14 good eggs developing from the second—that’s an incredible breeding season. False water cobras are such striking snakes, and those little ones already look fantastic.

Hopefully those remaining 14 eggs give you another great hatch!

Please give a warm welcome to our newest resident… Robert the Emu! 🪶💙

Robert has officially strutted his way into Lizard Land, and it’s safe to say he’s already acting like he owns the place! With his curious personality, long legs, and unmistakable charm, he’s quickly becoming a fan favorite.

Did you know? Emus are the second-largest birds in the world and can sprint at speeds of up to 30 mph! Don’t worry though—Robert is much more interested in checking out his new home and meeting all of you.
