We continue to wind down our operations, with multiple dogs on site and a few in foster care. Settling our outstanding veterinary bill remains a priority, alongside ongoing expenses for feeding and caring for the remaining dogs.

From Lola’s loving foster family:

🐿️😆 Rachael I thought FPS was a dog rescue. We are fostering a squirrel. I cant keep Lola from eating the dropped acorns. She breaks the shell and eats the nuts. 🐿️😆

Lola update:

Lola has settled into inside life. She is house trained. No accidents since the first week. She had an itchy skin condition between her toes. Dr B prescribed antibiotics all is good. She is doing real well walking on a leash. She gets anxious around mealtime. You can hear her stomach rumble. She loves trying to chew on my fingers to get me moving. We are working on getting her comfortable with strangers. She has met the alternative treat dealer down the street. She greets Lola with treats and pets her. She is now going up and sniffing people she hasn’t met before. Much less scared and cautious. With time she’ll be a good dog. Lola gets HW shot 4/16 hopefully everything will conclude after 8 weeks. Another update in a couple of weeks.

🫢We’ve been keeping a little secret🫢

Kiwi has been in foster for a couple weeks with a previous adopter. Her foster family has been amazing…they are patient, understanding, and encouraging Kiwi to make good choices❤️ The amount of love they have poured into her just weeks after losing their sweetest Pickles is heartwarming and renews our hope to find families for all of our dogs.

Send all your love, prayers, good vibes, whatever you believe, their way. This family, and Kiwi, deserve this to be a good match❤️🤞🏻

🎉Fajita enjoyed her weekend lounging around the house with her foster family. 🎉

ℹ️ This is what foster mom had to say: In my three nights, she was house trained, didn’t bark, didn’t chew, slept through the night and was fine alone. She’s loves a bath, a fluffy blanket, and the neighbors dogs (thru the fence). She was treat-motivated and gentle on a leash.
