Remembering the canine heroes of 9/11. Some gave their lives that day saving people. Dogs are the most loving beings in the world. They saved many from the rubble in the days following that nightmare attack. Never forget.

09/12/2026

We will never forget all who lost their lives, their family members, their loved ones and all those who courageously worked to find survivors (including canines) in the rubble of the aftermath despite risking their own lives in the process.
We will always remember September 11th.

Just here to share some pretty faces and say August is half way over Whew! 🥵It’s been a hot one! We are booking into September so please text 678-372-0949 or call for an appt. We do hold a cancellation list if you’d like to be added and fit in sooner when a slot opens, just ask! We hope everyone is adjusting to the ”back to school” schedules! Remember not to walk your furkids in the heat of the day, not only is heat stroke dangerous in this weather the pavement is also scalding hot on their paws! Early morning is best time to walk them for exercise! Also check your yard for mushrooms every morning they love to pop up overnight and are a dangerous snack for pups! 🍄 Stay cool and thank you as always for your loyalty and trusting us with your beloved dogs.

🥒 A Cool Summer Treat With Surprising Benefits
Looking for a healthy summer snack your dog will love? Reach for a cucumber.
Made up of about 95% water, cucumbers are one of nature’s best ways to help keep dogs hydrated on hot days. They’re low in calories, naturally crunchy, and make a refreshing alternative to highly processed, high-calorie treats.
And the benefits go beyond hydration. That extra moisture helps support healthy skin from the inside out, while nutrients like vitamin K, vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants contribute to overall wellness. Better hydration also helps maintain a soft, shiny coat and supports healthy cells throughout the body.
Chill cucumber slices in the refrigerator or freeze them for a cool, crunchy treat your pup can enjoy after a walk or play session.
Sometimes the healthiest treats are also the simplest. 🥒💚🐶

Research shows omega-3s can significantly improve skin and allergy issues in dogs, with supportive evidence in cats. Studies report less itching, scratching, and hair loss, plus better skin barrier function and shinier coats, often summarized as up to 50–60% improvement. These benefits come from marine-based EPA and DHA, not plant oils like flax, h**p, coconut or chia, which dogs convert poorly and cats barely at all. Always choose responsibly sourced, third-party tested marine oils, ideally in glass.

Feeding bioavailable omega-3s helps reduce inflammation, support skin, joints, and immune health, and nourish the body at a cellular level. That’s why Dr. Karen Becker developed ROE MEGA™—a veterinary-formulated blend of phospholipid-rich caviar oil with EPA and DHA from anchovies, sardines, and mackerel, enhanced with astaxanthin for stability and antioxidant support.

🐟🥚👉 If you want to explore a science-backed fish oil option for your small dog or cat, comment ROE and we’ll send a link straight to your DMs.
