🍅 When Tomato, a 4-year-old Goldendoodle, suddenly lost her balance and began moving differently, her family knew she needed care.

At UrgentVet, Tomato was alert with normal vital signs and already feeling more like herself. Our veterinarian discussed a possible seizure and care options with her family. They chose to monitor her at home and follow up with their primary veterinarian.

Tucker, a 12½-year-old Terrier mix, needed urgent care after a mealtime scuffle with his housemate left him with injuries to his leg, muzzle, and lower eyelid.

Our team treated his wounds, placed a few stitches, and kept him comfortable. Reassuring eye exam and bloodwork results helped Tucker head home with a care plan—and a hopeful new dining setup. 🐶💙

Our team found bacteria and a little yeast, gently cleaned his ear, and sent him home with medication for relief. We also explained how allergies can play a role in ear infections and recommended a check-in with his primary veterinarian in 10–14 days.

Our team examined her and tested a urine sample, finding signs consistent with a urinary tract infection. She went home with antibiotics, cuddles, and a plan to feel better. 💙

Little Cocoa, an 8-year-old Chihuahua, visited UrgentVet after her family noticed she wasn’t acting like herself. She had less energy, wasn’t interested in eating, and yelped when picked up. 🐾💚
Her exam raised concern for back pain—sometimes even the smallest movements can be uncomfortable for our tiny companions. Cocoa received medication to help with nausea and went home with pain medication and instructions for strict rest while her family keeps a close eye on her.

We’re wishing this sweet girl a comfortable recovery and brighter days ahead. Rest up, Cocoa—your only job right now is to be loved! 🥰🐶

Not every outdoor adventure goes according to plan—just ask Maggie! 🐝

Maggie came to UrgentVet with facial swelling from a suspected insect sting, and our team was ready to help. Allergic reactions in pets can happen quickly and may cause swelling, redness, hives, and in some cases, difficulty breathing.

The good news? Maggie is feeling much better! Her swelling has gone down, and she's back to her happy, playful self—just the way we like to see our patients. 💙
