The storms running through the south right now carry a peaceful eeriness. I feel for everyone dealing with the flooding in Atlanta, luckily I am North enough that the water is running downhill.

This North Georgia Clay has been unforgiving in my attempts to grow rhubarb over the years but I finally have the right dirt in the right spot with the right Sun and it's working!

And amongst everything else Taco the tortoise got an upgrade! She now has an outdoor habitat
And she is close enough to the Farm stand that when you stop by be sure to say hi

The garden is art!
a few extra Salad baskets are packed for the farm stand
My own fridge is full and ready for the week

Salad baskets this week have a little extra kale, freckled lettuce, greens, arugula, radishes turnip & rutabaga and some extra spring greens! I'll have a few extra for the farmstand in the morning as well as some lemon balm drying for any locals.

I will be cutting some lemon balm to dry for tea or tinctures (or whatever you want to use it for!) for anyone local stopping by the farm stand this Saturday.

This week's salad baskets are overflowing with mesclun mix assorted greens kales chards spinach a turnip and a rutabaga and a couple radishes!
This is my favorite time of year for the garden don't get me wrong I love the summer garden and the tomatoes and the cucumbers but this time of year is all about refresh, eating light and feeling some relief from the heaviness of winter.
is real and there's a lot of people who could stand to get their hands dirty and do some grounding 🤷🏼‍♀️ and if you are one of those people who would like to get your hands dirty I would love to get some extra help weeding the garden because apparently AI isn't doing that yet
