AKC Breeder of Merits, Breeder of 30 AKC champions (BIS and BISS winners), located in NE TX, Est. in 1991. We have had several successful dogs including Ch.

Our goal is to breed healthy dogs with great temperaments
We also breed Cardigan Welsh Corgis, which means our GSDS must be good with small dogs We have been breeding GSDs for over 25 years and have breed several champions and plan to continue that into the future. Heather started showing GSDs in the early 1990s and eventually all of her kids showed in Junior Showmanship and Breed. They were all

very successful with GSDs (and in Holly's case Australian Shepherds). Today Ashley, Holly, and Logan have aged out and have become successful in college and in Ashley's case both Dogs and her Career. Ashley handles most of our GSDs but Heather is still active in showing also. Windmills Synchronicity who was a top ten dog in 2006 and sired two champion daughters. We plan to continue growing our kennel's success and grow to be one of the best know GSD breeders in the nation.

Anna (Sunfarm-Windmill’s Goddess of Peace V Mountain Ash) has had a hot 2 weekends.

She's been WB, BOW, and BOB multiple times picking up 11 points with both majors at 15 months old

While we don't have any planned litters, our friends Mega.k9 GSD in Houston have a litter out of CH Windmill's My Love Amour V Mega-K9 (from our Justin Timberlake River/Kaitlyn litter)

They are 2 months old

Sire is Drago (Multiple BISS Multiple Group Winning GCHG Pinebucks Draco of Breauhausen TC)

Both parents have OFA Hips, Elbows, and DM testing done

We at Windmill GSD are devastated at the passing of our long time friend and co-breeder/co-owner Sergio Espejo of Sunfarm GSD

We have been friends with him for 30 years and it's just been a shocking few days.

Our last litter was a co-bred litter with him and our next litter was going to also be one we whelped for him

Currently we only even have 4 GSDs at our house and 2 we co-owned with him and 1 was soley his that we have been boarding.

We just don't even know what GSDs will be like without him.

Please give us time to breathe and evaluate all going on with our German Shepherds

Also we are actually in Corgis thanks to Sergio giving Ashley her Pembrokes as a child

Congratulations to all the beautiful GSDs at the 150th prestigious Westminster Kennel Club dog show. The 2nd longest running sporting event in the US.

While we currently don't have any puppies available our friends Mega.k9 GSD (https://www.megak-9.com/) of Houston, TX has a litter Sired by the wonderful BIS RBIS BISS GCHG Windmill's We Will Rock You CGC TC that he owns. The dam Sage is also an AKC Grand champion and both parents have OFA passing hips and elbows and DM clear dam and sire is a carrier

Apollo and Teagan did great at Glenrose, TX to start the 2026 show year.

They won 2 Best Junior Handler in Specialty wins, 2 BOS wins, a Select, and 3 BOBOH wins.

Working on making top 10 Owner Handler and hes been good for Teagan to learn how to show GSDs.

He got his coat back and is ready to keep it up for the rest of the Owner handler year

Hi all,

So unfortunately recently we found out we live around the corner from a horrific person who has had over 90 GSDs singned over to the the SPCA and the Government after she was videod unaliving a poor sweet GSD.

We just wanted to clear any confusion for neighbors or anyone.

We are AKC Breeder of Merits who have bred 30 AKC Champions (most owned by other people) since 1993 which includes an AKC BIS winner, A UKC Best in Show winner, several BISS winners, Best Veteran in Show winner, Best Bred-By in shows, and Best Puppy in Shows. Multiple top 20 dogs over the years as well. Ashley also won Best Junior Handler at the GSDCA twice in the 2000s.

We are probably the top clients at Sulphur Springs Veterinary Clinic and have all of our dogs vaccines done there and they have even done a few life saving surgeries after bloat etc.

We OFA all of our potential breeding dogs as well as doing DM Testing. And everyone is microchipped before they leave our property.

We are both officers of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Dallas (President and Secretary) and are Members of the GSDCA and the Tyler TX Kennel Club (Ashley runs post show clean up)

We are downsizing significantly on GSDs and currently only have 4 we own at our place (3 after Bling leaves to her retirement home) and 1 we are long term boarding for our good friend. Ashley has 2-3 client GSDs coming and going for showing.

Since 2010 we have only had 11 litters born on our property we are breeders on and then there was 3 others we were listed as co-breeders on that other people bred.

We mostly focus now on our Cardigan Welsh Corgis, but even as we step back on GSDs we love the breed and wanted to address living near someone so awful.

Our baby girl Minerva made her show debut this weekend showing at the GSDC of Dallas shows and was Best Puppy in specialty on the Friday show

She is 9 months old and still has some growing up to do, but we are very happy with how great she did with everything at the show. Look for her more later this year
