$25 SPAY AND NEUTER APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE IN HAYWARD ON OCTOBER 29TH!

Do you have multiple cats at home that still need to be spayed or neutered?

Purple Cat Vet is offering a special $25 per cat spay and neuter clinic at our Hayward location on October 29th!

* This clinic is for households that have 3 or more cats that need to be spayed or neutered. * You must schedule at 3 cats on October 29th at our Hayward location to receive the discounted surgery price. *

There are no county or residency restrictions.

The cost is $25 per cat. This is a nonrefundable deposit that must be paid in advance to reserve your appointment. Generous recent donations and grant funding will cover the remaining cost of the surgery.

Vaccine Requirement:
All cats must be vaccinated for distemper/FVRCP prior to scheduling surgery. Owners are responsible for the cost of any vaccines needed before surgery.

How is Purple Cat so affordable?

☝️The biggest reason we can offer low-cost surgery is that we specialize in cat spays and cat neuters. Working with only one species with just the need for sterilization surgery allows us to become very fast and proficient. This reduces the time needed to perform the surgeries, and therefore we can perform more surgeries in a given time for less cost.

✌️The other most important reason we can offer low-cost surgery is that we function with a very low number of paid staff members. We rely on word of mouth, Facebook, and the area shelters and humane societies to advertise for us.

Schedule your cats MEOW for surgery before winter!

Indoor cats can have surgery any time of year, but January is NOT an ideal time to spay outdoor cats. Trapping becomes more difficult, and keeping cats warm after surgery can be challenging when we have sub-zero temperatures.

If you wait too long into winter, outdoor cats may already have kittens that will struggle if mom is gone for the day. We see this happen year after year. Good intentions to get cats spayed and neutered often get cancelled or interrupted because of winter weather.
