It’s a special day for the senior member of Smith Lake Veterinary Hospital! Sweet Jazz is still active and enjoying life to the fullest! Jazz gets her senior care at SLVH and thinks your pets should too! In celebration of Jazz’s sweet 16, we will be announcing senior pet specials tomorrow! ❤️🎉🐾

Many of you have already had the pleasure of meeting her, but we are excited to formally introduce the newest member of the Smith Lake Veterinary Hospital family!

Courtney Andrews is originally from Montgomery, AL, and moved to Cullman in 2024 with her husband, Spencer. Together they have two dogs, Hanson and Max, two cats, and a bunny.

Courtney began her career as a veterinary assistant in 2020 and has a passion for providing compassionate patient care while helping clients feel informed and confident in caring for their pets. She is currently taking courses to obtain her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree. She is incredibly grateful to be a part of the Smith Lake Veterinary Hospital team and looks forward to continuing to learn, grow, and provide the best care possible to every patient and client who walks through the doors.

Many of you have met our talented veterinary assistant, Maddie, and may have even taken home one of her now-famous “Maddie-Bags.” 🛍️✨ Last year, Maddie had the idea to design and hand draw each bag that goes home with your pet’s at their first visit — and they quickly became a favorite!

Now, we have clients who come in and specifically ask for a Maddie-Bag. 🥰

We can’t let National Dog Day pass without celebrating our girls! Many of you have met Emma Jane when you visit SLVH. Jazz is our senior girl who will be celebrating her sweet 16 in October and makes an occasional appearance at SLVH. Our girls will always be a part of SLVH because they are featured in our logo.
