🎄 HELP US MAKE THE HOLIDAYS A LITTLE BRIGHTER
The holiday season should be filled with love, warmth, and a little magic, but we know that isn't always easy for every family. Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give is simply letting someone know they're not alone.

This year, Lee's Veterinary Hospital is starting a Giving Tree in our lobby to help local families in need right here in our community.
Our clinic family will be coming together to sponsor two local families this holiday season, and we'd love to invite our community to join us in spreading a little extra joy. 🎁

✨ Do you know a family who could use a little extra help this holiday season? Or is your own family going through a difficult time?

We are now accepting applications for families who could benefit from a little extra support. All requests will be handled with care, compassion, and discretion.

📩 Please send us a private message here or email [email protected] to request an application or to nominate a family who could use a helping hand.

Sometimes, life gets hard, circumstances change, and a little kindness can mean more than we will ever know. There is no shame in needing help, and we hope this Giving Tree reminds someone that their community cares.
Let's come together to make the holidays a little brighter for our neighbors.

From our clinic family to yours, let's make a difference together.

🐄🐴 NOW HIRING: Full-Time Large Animal / Barn Technician 🐴🐄

Lee’s Veterinary Hospital in Cullman is hiring an experienced, hardworking hand for our large animal team. We’ve served Cullman County’s farms and horse owners since 1987, and we need someone who already knows their way around livestock.

Hands-on experience with cattle AND horses is required. This is not an entry-level or “learn on the job” animal care role.

What the job involves:

Working cattle through chutes, alleys, and head catches
Restraining and handling cattle and horses for exams and procedures, including fractious and uncooperative animals
Assisting our veterinarians with bovine and equine cases
Feeding, watering, and caring for hospitalized livestock
Cleaning stalls and pens, hauling feed and bedding, and general barn upkeep

Physical requirements (please read carefully):

Regularly lift and carry 50+ lbs
On your feet all day, outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and mud
Able to safely handle large, unpredictable animals
Comfortable with demanding, dirty, physical work every shift

Schedule: Full-time. We especially need coverage Thursday, Friday, and most Saturdays. Saturday hours are 8 AM to 12 PM.

Pay and benefits:

Above-market pay, based on experience
Benefits including health insurance
