We can officially say, Lucky Ducky is ready for his forever home.

‼️PLEASE READ PRIOR TO APPLYING‼️

He has not figured the leash thing yet, but we are working on things daily.
✖️ No he doesn't do well on a leash.

Once he gets comfortable with you, he gets really excited to see his person and he really loves to snuggle in your lap. He's comfortable being picked up and held, but it does make him a little nervous still.
✔️Yes he can be picked up without being bitten.

But let's be very clear, he is NOT ready for a chaotic family. He is NOT house trained. He has figured out the potty pad program and is now a master with the grass pad. He will need to be contained to a small area for his safety and while he is acclimating.

He is still shy and reserved. And when he is overwhelmed, he will opt to run to his safe place (remember that small area mentioned above?).

Meet Patches 🥰
This sweet girl is one of the 7 rescued last month. She had no social skills. She has made so much progress during her stay at Happy Tails Groom & Board and is ready for the next chapter 📖.

At 1½ years old and 13 pounds, her short life has been a whirlwind of uncertainty. She is ready for a change!

She requires a home that will continue to work with her. She had never experienced life outside of the home she came from, this left her without the skills needed to do everyday life in the real world 🌎.

▪️ Fenced yard is a must, she is still learning not to run in fear and her safety is the most important.
▪️ Experience with fearful dogs is preferred.
▪️ Patience is non-negotiable. She deserves time to learn the world is safe.
▪️Foster to adopt is a great option during the transition process.

These seven little souls have already come so far. ❤️

Happy Tails is currently housing seven foster dogs for Paws Up Rescue LLC — all Chihuahua mixes, all around 12 pounds or less, and all coming from a heartbreaking situation. Their owner could no longer care for them, and until now, these dogs had essentially never experienced life outside of the home they came from or relationships with people other than their owner.

When they first arrived, most of them were terrified. We couldn’t touch them, and simply having a person enter their space was overwhelming.

But these little dogs are resilient. ❤️

In just a short amount of time, we’ve gone from not being able to touch them to seeing some of them wagging their tails, getting excited when we walk into the room, seeking interaction, and even doing little zoomies! They are making progress much faster than we anticipated, and it has been incredible to watch their personalities slowly start to come out.

Now they need the next step.

All seven are looking for foster homes or permanent homes, and the sooner we can get them into a loving, home-based environment where they can continue learning what life with a family is supposed to feel like, the better.

They’ve already shown us how badly they want to trust. Now they just real homes willing to show them that the world can be a pretty wonderful place. ❤️

Daycare, reimagined. 🐾

When we created Balance Pack Club, our vision was to move beyond traditional doggy daycare and create something designed around what dogs actually need.

That means more than simply giving them a place to play all day. It means fulfilling their natural, instinctual needs through movement, exploration, socialization, structure, rest, and time spent just being dogs.

Sometimes that looks like practicing calmness and boundaries. Sometimes it’s walking together as a pack. And sometimes it looks exactly like this—running through the woods, exploring with friends, getting a little dirty, and soaking up every bit of the good life.

Because our goal isn’t just a tired dog at the end of the day. It’s a balanced, fulfilled one. 🤎
