🐝 Fun Fact Tuesday!

Honeybees have to visit approximately 2 million flowers to make just ONE pound of honey. 🍯

They fly an average of 55,000 miles to produce that single pound...that's more than twice around the earth! And a single worker bee will only produce about 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in her entire lifetime.

Next time you drizzle honey on your biscuit, think about how hard those little ladies worked!

🌾 Did you know?

The average American farmer feeds approximately 166 people every single year. 🚜

In 1960 that number was just 26 people. Modern farming has become incredibly efficient, but the heart behind it hasn't changed a bit. Farmers wake up early, work hard, and feed communities every single day without most people ever thinking about where their food comes from.
