All of our pups beat the heat with us this past weekend! ☀️ You can definitely tell which ones have figured out exactly where that door leads…the AC! 😆

📢 Important Policy Update – Effective Immediately

To continue providing the highest level of care for every dog in our facility, we will be strictly enforcing our drop-off and pick-up appointment policies.
Our daily schedule is built around each scheduled arrival and departure. When appointments are missed or significantly delayed, it impacts our staff, our schedule, and the care we provide to every pup.

Effective immediately:
• A late fee will be charged for any drop-off or pick-up that occurs more than 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment time without prior approval.
• Requests to change a drop-off or pick-up appointment must be made at least one day in advance and must be approved by our team. We cannot guarantee that requested changes can be accommodated.

Appointment Hours
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (By Appointment Only)
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM & 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (By Appointment Only)

We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can happen. If you anticipate being late or need to request a different appointment time, please contact us as soon as possible. While we will do our best to help when our schedule allows, accommodations cannot be guaranteed, and applicable fees may still apply.
We are incredibly grateful for the support our community has shown Sam's K-9 Kennels. Because we've grown so much, maintaining our appointment schedule is no longer optional—it is essential to providing safe, efficient, and personalized care for every dog in our facility.
We ask that all clients respect their scheduled appointment times and plan accordingly. By arriving on time and communicating changes in advance, you're helping us provide the quality of care that every pup deserves.

🐾 Meet Natalie, Our Manager!🐾

If you've visited Sam's K-9 Kennels, you've probably met Natalie! She's the friendly face you'll often see in the office, answering questions, scheduling reservations, and making sure every owner and pup feels right at home.

Natalie's love for animals began long before Sam's K-9 Kennels. When she was just one year old, a stray dog named Max found his way to her family. She had the privilege of loving and caring for Max for the next 15 years, and she credits him as the reason she fell in love with dogs. That special bond sparked a lifelong passion for caring for animals.

Today, Natalie has two dogs, Ace and Oakley, along with four cats that keep life entertaining. Before joining Sam's K-9 Kennels, she spent more than five years pet sitting, where she discovered just how much she loved caring for other people's pets. Now, she gets to do what she loves every day while also having more balance in her personal life.

For Natalie, the best part of the job isn't just spending time with dogs—it's the relationships she gets to build. She loves getting to know every owner and every pup that walks through the doors. Seeing familiar faces, watching nervous dogs become comfortable, and getting to love on so many incredible dogs makes every challenging day worth it.

If there's one type of dog you'll always find by Natalie's side, it's the cuddler. She has a soft spot for pups that simply want to be close, soak up attention, and give all the love they can.

Natalie is incredibly thankful for the support this community has shown Sam's K-9 Kennels. More than anything, she's grateful for the relationships that have been built along the way. The trust you've placed in us, your kind words, and your recommendations have allowed our small business to grow and thrive. She would also like to give a special thank you to Joe for bringing her into this opportunity and allowing her to be part of something she truly loves.

We're so thankful to have Natalie as part of the Sam's K-9 Kennels family, and we know your pups are too!

Hi everyone! We thought it was time to properly introduce ourselves here at Sam’s K-9 Kennels!

🐾 Meet Sam – Owner of Sam’s K-9 Kennels 🐾

Sam has known she wanted to work with animals since she was just 6 years old, following in the footsteps of her mom, who is also a dog groomer. What started as a childhood dream has grown into a facility dedicated to making dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
At home, Sam is outnumbered by pets! She has two dogs — Bean the Corgi and Shep the Great Pyrenees — and three cats, Jules, Higgins and Holly. One of the things closest to her heart is that Shep, Higgins, and Holly were all adopted from the Cuba Animal Shelter.

When asked her favorite part about owning the kennels, Sam says it’s helping owners feel comfortable and confident about boarding their dogs, especially those who may be nervous or skeptical at first. Building that trust and seeing families return again and again means everything to her.
And finally, Sam says her favorite thing about this community is the trust they placed in her dad, Joe, when he first had the idea to build this facility.

“If it wasn’t for the trust and support they showed him in the beginning, we wouldn’t be where we are now.”

We are still in shock! 🤍

This weekend was our first fully BOOKED weekend! Every single kennel was full, with over 20 pups staying with us. 🏡

We can't even begin to describe how proud and grateful we are. The support from our community has been incredible, and we're so thankful for every family that has trusted us with their dogs.🐶

We have people traveling from all over to board their pups with us, and that's all because of the kind words, recommendations, and reviews that each of you continue to share.🥰

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us and supporting our dream. We truly couldn't do this without you! 🥹
