Florida cookouts follow a rule nobody writes down. Invite eight people, cook for thirty seven, and still worry someone might leave hungry. That is not poor planning. That is backyard hospitality with a smoker involved.

Ribs, chicken, brisket, sausage, sides, buns, beans, slaw, and enough leftovers to feed the next day all belong on the table. Around here, a good BBQ feels like family, neighbors, music, and paper plates stacked high.

She’s loving, affectionate, and knows how to enjoy the good things in life: belly rubs, toys, and quality snuggle time. Madame Poptart recently spent some time in a foster time and showed off her great manners -- no jumping, housebroke, and how well she listens. She already knows sit, lay down, and no and carries herself with an easy, well-behaved charm that makes her a joy to be around.

She’s great with kids and has been good with other dogs, making her a fun and easy addition to many homes. Our playgroup coordinator has even called her our current playgroup rockstar! When it comes to cats, she did well with two in the home but did chase another.

She’s the kind of dog who can hang out calmly by your side one minute and be ready to play the next — always with that sweet, loving nature at the center of it all.
