Hey y’all! ❤️ I wanted to stop by and share a little health and scheduling update!

I’m getting a little better each day. It’s still going to be a longer recovery, but I’m thankful to be feeling stronger as time passes.

With that said, I’m gradually beginning to reopen my availability for pup sitting. For now, I will only care for dogs from one...maybe two families at a time. The dogs should also be laid-back, calmer, and not prone to jumping.

As my recovery progresses, I’ll gradually increase my availability when I’m able and keep everyone updated about any changes. Thank you all so much for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this unexpected journey.

I miss your babies SO, SO much! I miss their cuddles, kisses, silly antics, and all the love they bring into my days. I can’t wait to see their sweet faces again!

My Health Update ❤️

While away on a family vacation with my mom, son, and sister, I suddenly became very ill and unexpectedly needed an emergency splenectomy. What should have been a relaxing getaway quickly turned into a hospital stay and a much longer recovery than any of us anticipated.

Unfortunately, this also meant Steve and my 10-year anniversary trip had to be canceled. 💔 We’re definitely disappointed, but mostly just grateful that I’m still here to complain about it.

I’m home now and only 9 days post-op, and recovery has been much harder than expected.

🚨 CURRENT BOOKING LIMITATIONS 🚨

VERY LIMITED BOOKINGS — EXISTING CLIENTS ONLY AND ONLY FOR PUPS ALREADY BOOKED.
❌ NO NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME

For the time being, I can only accommodate older, laid-back pups who are true couch potatoes and low energy.

❌ I cannot accept pups who need eye or ear medications right now. These limitations are temporary while I focus on healing and getting back on my feet.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, love, and continued support while I take some time to heal....unfortunately, I don't have a timeline for that.

Little do they know… we’re leaving soon for our 4-hour road trip with Gram, Lucius and Aunt Nene!!!

A little about our happy place, St. George Island…
It’s about 4 hours north of Crystal River and such an easy, beautiful drive. Once you get there, it feels like stepping into Old Florida. No chain restaurants. No high-rise hotels or motels. Just a laid-back little island, beautiful beaches, locally owned restaurants, and lots of dog-friendly places.

We’ve vacationed there the last two years, and honestly, it’s just so us. Low-key. Easygoing. No fuss. Not overcrowded. No crazy itinerary. Just beautiful scenery, family, dogs, and plenty of time to slow down and enjoy being together. ❤️

Basically… if “leave me alone, I’m at the beach with my dogs” was a vacation destination, this would be it.

And this year, I get to bring Gram, Lucius and Aunt Nene along for the adventure! And in a couple weeks, Steve and I get to go again to celebrate 10 years of wedded bliss....
