Corduroy started the Confident Camper program today! He still a little shy and didn’t want to sit still for a picture when he went home, but did warm up to us a lot today. Please help us welcome him to the family!

WEEK 3: MONSTER MANOR
🏰 The manor has a mystery—and a very welcoming door.
A sign outside reads:
No jump scares. No rushing. Every nose welcome. 🐾
This week, our 4 Paws & the Mystery of Pumpkin Hollow adventure takes us to Monster Manor, where the third lantern light is waiting to be discovered.
Its magic word? KINDNESS. 💙
Our weekly activity options include Moving Paths, with easy routes and choices around familiar obstacles, and Missing Toy, a simple uncovering game with a favorite toy.
At the Cozy Manor Club, dogs can enjoy quiet storytime and comfortable companionship with our team. Secret-Door Supper adds an accessible food puzzle, adjusted to the dog working on it.
Some explorers may enjoy solving a little mystery. Others may treasure a quiet moment beside a familiar person. Neither experience needs to look like anyone else’s.
In our story, the third light appears when everyone has room to participate in their own way.
Ask our team about your dog’s own not-so-haunted enrichment adventure!

Most daycares do their temperament testing in one day. That’s been standard in the industry for years. Heck, that’s what we did for years!

Over time we found we weren’t happy with that set up. For lots of dogs, it was fine. But for others, one day just wasn’t enough time to really assess them for group.

Many were overwhelmed by all the newness. New place, new people, lots of new dogs. Often we didn’t get to see their true personalities.

So we decided to do something different. What if we created a slower process allowing the dogs to get to know the place a bit first. What if we let them get to know the staff and feel safe with us before we asked them to walk into a room full of unknown dogs?

What if we gave them fun activities to do, so that they were already looking forward to being here.

And so the 3 day Confident Camper program was born.

Over the course of three day (ideally non-consecutive) we let the dogs take their time getting used to us, the facility and the other dogs.

We haven’t looked back! It’s been a game changer.

We’ve been doing it for months now, and we love it! So do our clients! But most importantly, the dogs are having an easier experience and at the end of the day, that’s what we’re all about!

Today, Ollie started his Confident Camper program, and it went so well! Here’s some highlights from his first day!

WEEK 2: WITCHES’ WORKSHOP
🧙 The next clue is behind a purple door…
In our Pumpkin Hollow story, the first lantern window is glowing with Curiosity. Now our 4 Paws explorers are heading to the Witches’ Workshop to discover the second light: CLEVERNESS! ✨🐾
But this workshop’s magic doesn’t come from spells. It comes from little moments of figuring things out.
This week’s activity options include Broomsticks & Balance, featuring gentle ground-pole work and small agility, and Special Delivery, where dogs practice individual toy-handling skills.
At Spell, Play, Pause, familiar manners become part of a favorite game with our team. Then Cauldron Kitchen offers a food-enrichment experience using each dog’s approved ingredients—served beside the cauldron, not inside it!
A toy picked up. A familiar cue practiced. A new route explored. We’ll celebrate the step that makes sense for each dog.
Can our workshop assistants uncover the magic that lights the lantern’s second window? 💜
Ask our team about including a workshop adventure in your dog’s daycamp visit.
