It appears that Canine Cough is in the area. Canine Cough can occur anywhere dogs gather and is often similar to a seasonal cold. Most cases are mild, but it can spread between dogs. It typically presents with the following symptoms, persistent cough or honking sound, sneezing or runny nose and low energy. Like the common cold for us it typically will run its course, if you have any concerns consult your veterinarian.
If your dog is showing any signs of coughing, we kindly ask that you do not bring them into daycare. Canine Cough does not start at your daycamp/boarding facility, it is brought into the facility by an infected dog. Keeping sick dogs at home is our best chance at protecting everyone. Help us keep your pets safe!!
