​Adding a new puppy to the family is an exciting adventure, but older dogs don't always share the same enthusiasm right away! Angie reached out to me because her older dog, Riley, was definitely NOT happy about the new addition, sweet puppy Teddy. On top of managing their dynamic, Angie wanted to get ahead of Teddy's basic obedience, leash walking, and recall. 🐶🐕
​Through our in-home coaching program, we got right to work in their daily environment:

​Puppyhood is full of joy, but sharp puppy teeth, crate struggles, and selective hearing can test anyone's patience! Erin reached out to me for help with sweet puppy Ozzie to tackle play biting, lock in crate training, and build a reliable recall. 🐶✨

​Leash reactivity and crate struggles can turn everyday routines into stressful events fast. Gregg reached out to me for help with his dog, Kevin, who was having a tough time relaxing in his crate and becoming reactive whenever they went out for leash walks. 🦮💥
​Through our in-home coaching program, we focused on building clear communication, calm routines, and giving Gregg the exact tools needed to handle Kevin's triggers.

🐾 REHABILITATION HIGHLIGHT: WORKING THROUGH RESOURCE GUARDING 🐾
​Resource guarding is one of the toughest behaviors a dog owner can face—especially when it escalates to a bite. Tom reached out to me after adopting sweet Chase, who was showing serious guarding behaviors and had unfortunately bitten him.
​Working with a dog with a bite history requires 100% management, clear safety protocols, and a whole lot of patience. There are no quick fixes, but with the right structure, huge progress is possible! 🏠✨
​We immediately got to work setting up a safe, controlled environment:
✨ Implemented strict house rules around high-value items and spaces Chase would guard 🛑
✨ Set up safety and management protocols to prevent future bite scenarios
✨ Taught Chase new, positive associations around trades and boundaries
✨ Equipped Tom with the confidence, tools, and handler awareness needed to lead safely

​Adopting two puppies at once sounds like double the fun, but it can quickly become double the overwhelm! Anil and Shelly reached out to me after welcoming sweet pups Lulu and Mila into their home and realizing they needed a clear plan to handle the double puppy power. 🐶🐶
​Through my intensive in-home coaching program, we immediately talked about Littermate Syndrome—the tendency for puppies raised together to bond so strongly to each other that they struggle to build individual confidence, focus on their owners, or learn basic skills.
