We're incredibly grateful for how much our community has supported and trusted us with your pets.
We know that having a veterinarian available on Sundays is helpful, and we do our best to see as many patients as we safely can. We leave room in our schedule for urgent needs when possible and try to find ways to help when you call.
But we're also a small clinic with a small team, and Sundays fill up quickly. There are days when we simply cannot work in every patient who needs to be seen without compromising the care of the patients already here.
We also want to remind everyone that we are a general practice, not an emergency hospital. Some illnesses and injuries need the staffing, equipment, monitoring, and 24-hour care that only an emergency facility can provide. In those situations, we may recommend going directly to an emergency hospital rather than coming to us first.
If you call us on a Sunday and we aren't able to see your pet, we may provide you with names and locations of emergency clinics - not because we don't care, but because there are limits to how many patients can be cared for at our facility and it is very likely in the best interest of your pet.
We are thankful that we're able to offer Sunday hours to our community, and even more thankful for the patience, kindness, and trust you continue to show our little team.
