I mean it’s a pretty good reason to get her a cow for Christmas 🤷🏼‍♀️🐮

I know I won’t get everything right. Patience is something I’m still working on, and there are parts of myself I never want her to feel responsible for.

I want her to know how to stand up for herself while still being a good friend. To be confident without being unkind. To know she can come to me with the hard things, the embarrassing things, the mistakes, and the things she’s afraid to say out loud.

I want us to have the kind of relationship where she still wants to tell me everything when she’s grown. Where she knows she can come home at any age and be met with love instead of judgment.

I’m going to mess up sometimes. But I want her to see me apologize, grow, and try again.

I don’t want her to grow up afraid of disappointing me. I want her to grow up knowing her worth, trusting my love, and never questioning whether she’s safe with me.

My ceiling should be her floor. And I’ll be proud every time she surpasses me. 🤍

Pigs are so much fun but man they can do some damage to things in the process 😅🤣🐷

And uh, that’s a negative I guess they only love me if I have snacks or scratches to give out 😭🤣
