Addie is learning that she doesnā€™t have to rely on a toy to navigate big feelings.

For her, the toy had become a source of comfort when she felt overstimulated. Rather than simply taking it away, weā€™re teaching her how to work through that emotion, make thoughtful choices, and find calm without depending on the toy.

The goal isnā€™t just obedience. Itā€™s helping her build the skills to regulate herself and stay connected with her human partner, even when emotions run high.

One of the biggest changes we look for in training isnā€™t just a dog who stops pulling.

Itā€™s a dog who can move through their environment while understanding whatā€™s being asked of them.

Two simple skills.
Two big pieces of a well-mannered dog.

Place teaches a dog to settle and hold position. Loose-leash walking teaches them how to move with you without constant pressure on the leash.
