🐄 ❄️ On Sunday we were called for a cow that was in labor, but did not make progress in delivering the calf. Road conditions made it difficult to get to the patient, and the cow wasn’t very cooperative, but together with the farmer we delivered a live heifer calf that was coming out backwards (“breech”).
This story is yet another example of the dedication farmers have to their livestock, as it turns out delivering the calf was just the “easy” part. ❄️ 🐄
