Short-haired pups, light-colored dogs, and even some sensitive noses can burn in the sun just like we can!
With sunny daycare days and boarding playtime coming up, we recommend sending dog-safe sunscreen with your pup if they’re prone to sunburn—especially for noses, ears, bellies, and thin-coated areas.
Please make sure it’s pet-safe sunscreen and labeled for dogs. We’ll help keep your babies protected while they play! 💚🐶

Snuffle mat fun has arrived upstairs! 🐾🧠
Brain stimulation is just as important as physical play, and snuffle mats are a great way to encourage natural sniffing instincts, build confidence, and provide fun, rewarding enrichment throughout the day. ❤️
If you’d like your pup to participate, feel free to send small training-sized treats with them! Since many of our daycare friends have allergies or sensitivities to ingredients like chicken and grains, we ask that families send treats they know their baby can safely enjoy.
We can’t wait to watch our daycare crew learn, explore, sniff, and have so much fun — while always keeping safety and individualized care a top priority here at Tails R Us! ✨
