Texas Animal Rescue Rehab Texas Animal Rescue Rehab was founded in 2022 as an Independent Rescue. We are now
a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization.

We rescue dogs from Houston-area shelters and from the streets and place them in permanent, loving homes across the United States through coordinated transport, with scheduled adoption stops in VA, PA, NJ, NY, MD, and CT. We work to find good, loving forever homes for the many animals in need out there. Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter of our cats and dogs, vaccinations, testing for heart

worms, microchips, flea & tick preventives, & heart worm prevention of age-appropriate dogs. Daily we receive a high number of requests for help. We will prioritize and help the most urgent first. Please do not reach out for help if you are not willing to foster an animal you picked up. We are foster based; all of our pets stay in homes while in our program.

This sweet little girl is getting closer and closer to being ready for her forever home, so we’re officially opening applications! 🏡

Dolly is a 3-4 month old bully breed mix. She is a no paws on the ground puppy until her vaccines are completed! She is sweet, kennel trained, working on potty training but doing GREAT! She loves to play with other dogs, toys & kids too. She does have super sharp baby shark teeth still.

🐾 MEET OUR NEWEST GIRL 🐾

This sweet baby is only about 3–4 months old and appears to be a Pit Bull mix. 💔 As you can see, she has a very severe case of scabies (sarcoptic mange). Her little body is covered in irritated, inflamed skin, hair loss, scabs, and sores.

But the most important thing is — she is safe now. ❤️

She has a long road of treatment and healing ahead of her, but we are going to make sure she gets everything she needs. Right now, we could really use our community’s help with the cost of her veterinary care, medications, food, bedding, and supplies.

Daisy is approximately 2 years old, around 50 lbs, and we believe she may be a Dalmatian mix. Whatever her mix is, she is one very sweet girl!

Today I came across a shared post about three small dogs who had been dumped near a bridge in a very secluded area. As soon as I saw the location, I knew exactly where it was — unfortunately, it’s only about a mile from my house and probably the 200th time I’ve picked up abandoned dogs from this exact spot. 💔

When we got there, we found Mama, Daddy & Baby trying to survive inside a huge pile of dumped garbage.

They were extremely hot, hungry, thirsty and completely exhausted. They had made that pile of trash their shelter because they had nowhere else to go.

Who knows how long they had been out there or what they went through before someone finally noticed them.

But their days of living under a bridge and sleeping in garbage are OVER. ❤️

Of course, we loaded all three of them up.

Tonight they’re safe. They’ll have full bellies, fresh water, a cool place to sleep and people who will make sure they never have to fend for themselves again.

Mama, Daddy & Baby’s new beginning starts NOW. 🐾❤️

Welcome to the good life, little family. You deserved so much better than what you were given — and we’re going to make sure you get it.

Well… meet this little guy.

He has the STRONGEST RBF we have ever seen. 🤣 He constantly looks like he just checked his bank account, stepped on a Lego, and found out somebody ate his leftovers.

You can feed him. Love him. Hold him. Tell him he’s handsome…

And his face still says, “Please get away from me.” 💀😂

We promise he’s actually a sweet baby… he just looks permanently disappointed in everyone around him.

Now we need a name that matches this tiny angry old man face. 😂

🌼 Meet Daisy! 🌼

This sweet girl has been waiting quite a while for her chance to finally be saved.

Daisy was originally brought to the pound, although we aren’t sure of the circumstances that led her there. From there, she spent some time in boarding, waiting and hoping that someone would come for her.

Today, that wait ended. ❤️ We brought Daisy home with us, and she’ll stay safely in our care until we find the forever family she deserves.

Daisy appears to possibly be a Dalmatian/Lab mix, and she is an absolute sweetheart! She already knows how to sit, rides great in the car, and walks nicely on a leash.

❤️ Loving and gentle

She can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up and show you just how sweet she really is.

We are running low on puppy pads and could really use some help restocking! With puppies unexpectedly and constantly coming into rescue, we go through them FAST. We also have the capability to litter train some of our pups. We will also have litter pellets on the list for that reason.
