As is life, plans change. As many of you know Fur & Fable is a small grooming shop that is operated out of a private home on the weekends. During the week, I work at a different location about an hour and a half away, also providing grooming services. This has caused many instances where we have worked multiple weeks consecutively causing severe fatigue. For the foreseeable future, I will be continuing to live and work away from this private home location. Meaning some difficult decisions had to be made.

🐩 Beginning January 1st, 2026 I will only be available for grooming services on a five week schedule for limited clientele only. The price changes that were to go into effect on January 1st, 2026 will no longer be implemented to this clientele as their grooming appointments will be more difficult to schedule; meaning grooming prices are locked in at the rate you are currently at. 🐩

🐾 Grooming dates at Fur & Fable for January 2026 are January 3rd and 4th. Grooming dates for February 2026 are February 7th and 8th. 🐾

I want to thank everyone for their understanding during this time. Should the situation change we will make another announcement post, but until then we have to make the best choices for both our staff and your pets! If you need to find another groomer for your pup that is always available in the area, we completely understand and urge you to do what is best for your pet!

Included are the remaining available appointments for the remainder of the year! If your pup is in need of some pampering please PM us here or reach out to (740)993-9453 via call or text! While we may not be able to get to your call right away we always try to return it within 24 hours, or acknowledge its receipt with a text message.

🐾 November 30th appointments are no longer available as our groomer will be attending a First Aid CPR Certification class that is backed by the Ohio Professional Pet Groomers Association. Once she completes this course she will be certified for two years in canine first aid and CPR!🐾

Finally, keep a lookout for our new business cards coming late 2025/early 2026.... they just may have client rewards on them. 😉

🐩 We have a few announcements to make!

1) All clients will receive a grooming agreement/updated grooming agreement at their next appointment. This agreement states the expectations of us here at Fur & Fable LLC, as well as, you the client. This gives us a better understanding of the grooming process and expectations for both parties.

2) All clients will be asked to provide the due date of their pet's next rabies vaccination. If your pet can not receive this vaccination we will require proof of this from your primary veterinary office. Most veterinary office invoices will show the due date of the next vaccine. Most offices have restricted hours on the weekends so please bring proof via this invoice as we will be unable to call and verify.

3) While we strive to keep our services affordable we must also keep up with the cost of products, and reward our groomers for their continued efforts in continuing their education. Included in this post is the updated price list for new clients, as of November 1st, 2025. All existing clients will continue at existing prices until January 1st, 2026. At which point the new price list will take effect.
