🎆We got a miracle today🎆 Hank was found💕💕
He was found hung up around two trees off trails in the reservoir this morning where one of our dedicated volunteers Lee found him alive and well!
He survived 11 days in the bitter cold. So many people helped and searched for his recovery. His Momma was out there for days and hiked miles and miles along with family and friends. Many strangers out hiking were looking for him too! We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone that participated in bringing Hank home including MDC police for their assistance and support, our drone pilots, Ben, Sean, Erica, Dana and I believe MDC and West Hartford, police had drones up as well. Volunteers from Dog Star assisting in searching, Karen, Barb, Ellen, Bonnie plus I know there was others that jumped in to help. Also our CTDRG volunteers. Donna and Carol who assisted in coordinating the search. April, who hiked Miles for a number of days trying to find Hank. In addition our two dog tracking volunteers Kristen with her beloved German Shepherd, and Mike with his beloved bloodhound and of course Lee for going out again to try to find him this morning ‼️
Welcome home, sweet boy we are all overjoyed you are safe and home 💕💕

Missing in West Hartford-MDC Hartford reservoir 6!
The sweet boy was on the trails with the owners when he spotted a deer and took off. He is dragging 2 leashes (red & blue) and wearing a blue plaid coat. If seen, could you drop a pin and text it to the owner so they’ll have that information and call them immediately to report the sighting!
Please be on the lookout and help get this boy home!

Happy Holidays to all my Doggie Castle. Thank you for all for always being like family to me. I appreciate all our conversations and stories we share. Thank you again for all the generous Christmas gifts. I am very grateful . Love from my family to yours. 💕🐾💕

UPDATE!!! Jayla is back home and safe. Jayla pulled out of her harness, while still in the car, on her way to the vets office. When the family opened the car door to get her she bolted. The family, Double A Vet, CTDGRV, and the community rallied to find her. Jayla took off running scared. The morning of her capture multiple sightings came in. The family took their other dog Emma out to help with the search. Just before her capture, Emma started to bark as family followed her tracks. Jayla was spotted and she was cornered against a fence and her mom moved in to get her with assistance from other family. The entire time she remained in full blown survivor mode as she tried to flee her family as they secured her. She went to the vets to have her foot checked out and all is well. Big thank you to the community for calling in sightings, homeowners who offered their property for set ups, our drone pilots Erica and Sean from Red Con 1 on standby to come out, Double A Vet who offered their property to assist, and our CTDGRV team Carol, Lisa, and Emma. Missing in Wethersfield. She is a very shy and timid dog. Please if you see her call the family immediately with her exact location. Do not post the sighting, call. We need to get the family out to her location so we can bring her home safely. The family is very worried about her and want her home. Please if you live near the area check your cameras and yards. She may hide and take shelter in a location ie under sheds, decks, shrubs or other structures. Please share

🚨 **$5,000 REWARD OFFERED** 🚨

Another case of senseless abandonment. This sweet, loving pit bull was left at a West Hartford dog park on December 13, around 1:15 pm. This good boy was driven to the park, let out, and left behind as the car drove away—confused, scared, and waiting for someone who never returned. 😔

Thankfully, kind people and their pups stayed with him, keeping him safe until West Hartford Animal Control arrived. He's now warm, cared for, and described as incredibly sweet—no chip, but full of love. 💜

Desmond's Army Animal Law Advocates is offering a **$5,000 REWARD** for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible. 🚔📞 If you have any tips, contact West Hartford Animal Control at (860) 570-8818.
