Unfortunately there are Bernese Mt Dogs in situations they didn’t ask for 😞, which tugs on the strings of every Berner owner as we love our dogs so much.

Fortunately though, there are dedicated people helping them find a home through BARC, Inc.— a nationwide organization rescuing and rehabbing these pups.

They currently have this 9 week old litter listed (in Topeka, KS), and have already received more applications than puppies— which is wonderful!

I’m sharing simply for awareness, to help these dogs that we all love so much find homes— and to also give awareness to the buyer/owner that adoption is an option too.

ADOPTED - Have more applications than puppies! Probably about 35 aps for 6 puppies. Please be patient as we get pups all the time. And will try to get to everyone eventually .

Normally, we do not post puppies, but these cuties need to get in forever homes. The Nutcracker litter is now 9 weeks old. We are looking for loving homes that know Berners shed like crazy, will become large and are sometimes clumsy and they will stick to you like Velcro, often on your lap. You will never go to the bathroom alone again!
If you can commit to this for this pups lifetime please apply at barcinc.net to adopt.
Our adoption fees are posted, but I will post here that the fee for a puppy is $1,400. The pups are being treated for parasites, Giardia and Coccidia.

If you have applied before and are interested in one of these pups please apply again. We have gone through many aps from the past, but want to make sure we don’t miss you.

Fritz is the only male the rest are females.

⭐️ Sunday Spotlight ⭐️

Today is extra special as we celebrate the 3rd birthday of our trailblazing litter!
I am filled with such delight and gratitude reminiscing the time we had with these pups, and will never forget the excitement we all shared when returning home from Ash Wednesday service to find Dakota had her very first puppy!
That puppy happens to be named Dazzle and has continued living side by side with her mother here at Diamond U Berners. 🤎

Miss Mabel is our feature this week, with her family in Omaha sending in a pupdate highlighting her wonderful behavior (with plenty of training😉), and also her scale-tipping 77lbs at 7.5 months old. Her family loves her SO much!!

Happy New Year from this party animal, Louie! He’s a former Diamond U Berner pup who resides in Omaha with his adoring family. He’s been hanging out with us while his family is away for the holidays, and he’s a joy to have around! He’s really taken a liking to my daughter’s bed (which I guess he’s not allowed on at home) and makes me laugh with his ability to get tangled in his leash 😆. He gives the sweetest little nudges and has an affection for my youngest, Mav, who reciprocates it. She is going to have a hard time taking “my puppy” back to his home tomorrow 🥹.

This week we showcase handsome Apollo, who resides in Florida. His adoring owners Lauren Acevedo-Molina and husband, sent a message this weekend praising God that Apollo was brought into their lives while wishing us a Happy Thanksgiving 🤍.
We are equally as thankful to be “providing the love only a Berner can give” to these wonderful owners.

Now Apollo just needs some Buccaneer wins to make his Christmas a little more Merry 😉.

This week we showcase Bella, a pup from Della x Cash who was born in January of this year. She’s pushing 70lbs and still showing her puppy side as her owner says she loves to chew, anything! She also loves walks, being outside, camping and car rides.

It sounds like she is living a pretty great life! ☺️
