Meet 2 of our longest residents here at Loving Paws❤
This is Felix & Munchkin and here's a little about their story
Felix has been at the shelter for over 302 days now. Felix was abandoned by his previous "owners" and brought in to us by the Sheriffs Department, almost a year ago now. If you ask me "Delayne, why is Felix still at the shelter?" I could truthfully say I have no clue. Felix is a lab/retriever mix and he's ~1 year old. There is absolutely no reason why Felix should still be here at the shelter. He is a happy boy who loves to play fetch, play in the water, and go on walks. He plays well with other dogs, doesn't seem interested in the cats here at the shelter, and would do good with kids as well. Felix can be a little shy at first, but after a meet and greet he is your best friend. I don't know why Felix hasn't met his new family yet...and it makes me sad because he is SUCH a good boy. He would truly be a great addition to someone's family - they just haven't found him yet.❤
Munchkin has been at the shelter for over 567 days now. Again, ask me why Munchkin is still here, I would say I have no clue. There IS a few things to know about Munchkin, but that just means there's a specific family for her. Munchkin would prefer a household without other cats, we are unsure how she would do with dogs, but does well with kids and elder too. She is ~3 years old and I mean she has the most beautiful lime green eyes! She enjoys being outside in her fenced in outdoor area and likes to be loved on, but not too much🤣 (same lol) Munchkin would be a great indoor/outdoor cat as she is quite the hunter too!
We have GOT to find these guys a home. We do everything we can here at the shelter to give them the best living environment possible during their stays here, but they deserve to feel the love from their very own family. And there is absolutely nothing keeping these guys being held back from finding that family, truly.
