Thank you so much for adjusting to the crazy schedule we have had last week. Our manager had some personal issues to deal with, and our volunteers stepped up to take on the necessary duties to provide for the shelter. Again, we couldn't do what we do without volunteers. Well, we are back in action today and we are ready to get some adoptions ... come on over to meet your new best friend. 💞💞💞

We got such a nice surprise on Saturday. One of our former adopters sent us two dozen rainbow cupcakes for the staff to enjoy. I was the only staff there on Saturday but I promise I only ate one and it was delicious.

Our 2nd big event of the year is right around the corner. 🐾 We always have so much fun. We hope that we have a great turn out for the Silent Auction, Door Prizes and Dinner. You can pay at the door or buy tickets from Pulaski County Humane Society board members. Music will be playing and we'll have a grand ole time! 💞

HERE WE GO!

💕 Remember Hearts For Huskies? Let's do something like that again - but a little different! Don't worry - our activity challenge will be back in February.

🐾 PAWS IN THE PUMPKIN PATCH 🐾
Our goal? To help raise funds for future grants for northern breed rescues organizations. But, you don't have to have a northern breed dog to participate! All dogs are welcome!

How it works:

1. Register by Friday, September 4. All registrants will receive a Paws in the Pumpkin Patch long sleeve shirt - perfect for fall adventures.

2. Once your shirt arrives to you (we will place the shirt order on September 5 and mail the shirts once they're complete), take a fall photo of you and your dog being active — post-run, mid-hike, out exploring, anything active. Get outside and enjoy the fall colors and fresh air together!

Your photo must include:
• Your Paws in the Pumpkin Patch shirt
• Your dog (let's be honest, this is the best part) - don't have a dog? Take a shelter pup for an outing!

3. Share your photo by October 15 — post to social media and tag us, and DM/email it to us directly so it doesn’t get missed ([email protected])

4. Our board picks a favorite photo. We’ll make a $100 donation to a northern breed rescue chosen by the winner.
