We're sure most know, but just in case, it is really cold and will be extremely cold tonight.

We want to make sure everyone is thinking of their pets and doing all they can to make them comfortable during the cold.

- You MUST provide shelter for them if they are outside. That's the law, and if you need shelter, stop by; we have dog houses! Make sure the shelter is insulated if it is plastic; straw works great!

- They must have liquid water. Placing a bucket outside today will not be enough. Get an electric water dish so they can have liquid water at all times.

- Make sure you do not go on long walks without protecting their feet. Just like us, animals can get frostbite, and it is very painful!

We hope everyone stays safe during this cold snap. If you need any supplies, stop by the TCRAS CARE House in Woodland Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today or tomorrow, and we can help you keep your animals warm.
