Hello all!

We are making a final plea for help. C. Dog Run is CLOSING. We have 10 dogs in need of sponsorship and/or adoption. We have a rescue willing to take them home to New York, but they need sponsorship for the ride. $60 helps one get a ride and a safe place until adoption. We desperately appreciate any donation amount. This is urgent due to our closure. You can donate to via Venmo.

They have two weeks from yesterday to secure their ride. We have secured two rides but need 8 more so everyone will be safe. Please share or donate so we can help them make the transition safely! Our website and email will remain active as we hear from our past rescues often.

It's been a great experience to have rescued over 3,200 dogs in the 24 years of rescue. Not bad for a little ragamuffin rescue that tried to make a difference. I started in Orlando in 1998, working with Buddies Resue, grabbing dogs from traffic, off the street under houses, and owner surrenders. A couple of them were so awful we didn't know the s*x or breed until they were groomed. Others were covered in dirt, fleas, and full of parasites, to the one left in the woods to die, tied to a tree. Many more came from shelters across south Alabama into the Panhandle as far down as Wakulla. Some with bellies of bird shot, broken bones, and wounds you could put your hands in. A few amutees. Some made it and a few did not.

In the end it was all worth it. Sometimes it made you wonder.

Thank you to all of those who adopted, fostered, cleaned, bathed, brushed, transported and supported, rallied and sweat though countless fundraisers, and adption events to fuel our efforts.

So one last time please give the last 10 the chance to make it home. These 10 are long timers, over looked and turned down.
