Something I wish more people understood: even though I’m a trainer, my dogs aren’t perfect.

There are still things we work on, and there are days I let things slide. That’s just real life.

When we do evaluations, we’re not just looking at the dog—we’re looking at you too. If we put a high standard on your dog, can you maintain it? More importantly, do you need to?

Don’t look for the perfect dog. Look for the perfect dog for you.

Success isn’t perfection. It’s having a dog that fits your lifestyle and a relationship you enjoy. 💭

Grimm went home today! 🐾💣

This guy came to us with a solid foundation, but we added a little Bombshell spice to help him really shine. What stood out most was his attitude—always ready to work, but just as happy to relax when the job was done.

Congratulations, Grimm! It was a blast having you here, and we can’t wait to see you again.

Lola and Nacho are in the final stretch. 🐾

They’ll be heading home on Wednesday, so we’re spending these last few days putting the finishing touches on their training. The foundation is there—now it’s all about consistency, clarity, and getting in those extra reps before graduation day.

We’re excited to show their owners just how far they’ve come. 💪

Skadi’s lesson plan for today:

✅ Don’t fall off the paddle board
✅ Enjoy the water
✅ Be a good passenger
✅ Have fun

Not every training day has to look like a training day. ☀️

Today was all about getting out on the water, staying cool, and seeing if Skadi had her sea legs. Fun fact: this was her first time paddle boarding and swimming, and she absolutely crushed it.

Dodger came along for the ride like a seasoned professional, Skadi tackled a brand-new adventure, and we all had an awesome time.

Just a couple of dogs, a paddle board, and a summer Saturday well spent. 🌊🐾

10/10 day. Would definitely float again.
