Happy Gotcha Day to our big guy, Thor! 🐾
It’s hard to believe how our journey started. When we first met Thor at the Watauga Humane Society, we already had two Great Pyrenees and weren’t sure if a third was in the cards. But a month later, he was still there. When I went back to visit, he looked like he had given up hope—and in that moment, I knew he was coming home with us.
Life with Thor hasn’t always been easy, but the best things rarely are:
• The Goat Situation: He’s not a fan of being surrounded by the whole herd, but he shared a special bond with Clyde.
• Brotherly Dynamics: He and Loki have to keep their distance, but we’ve learned how to make our "roommate rotation" work perfectly.
• The Best Friend: Oliver absolutely adores him!
Despite the challenges and the logistics, we wouldn't change a thing. Thor deserved a second chance at a happy life, and we are so glad we were the ones to give it to him. We love you, Thor! ❤️

Simon and Pandora were our very first baby goats back in 2022, and life on the farm hasn’t been the same since. From their first wobbly steps to the big personalities they have today, they continue to bring us so much happiness and joy every single day.

We love you, Simon and Pandora! Here’s to many more years of head butts and clover snacks. 🌿❤️

When we decided to get goats, we knew we needed a guardian. My research pointed straight to the Great Pyrenees, and as fate would have it, the Watauga Humane Society had a pair of sisters available: Pinkie and The Brain!

By the time we arrived, only Pinkie was left—and we knew she was the one. The ride home? Let’s just say it was an "adventure" involving a lot of car sickness (a tradition she still keeps alive today 🤢).

Before the goats arrived, Pinkie was a bit of a rebel. We nicknamed her Pinktastrophe because she turned into our personal shredder! But the moment our first goats stepped onto the farm, a switch flipped.

Today, she is the undisputed Queen of Xanadu Farm. 🏰 She’s not just a protector; she’s a mentor who trained Loki, and a self-appointed midwife who has helped deliver several of our babies.

It’s amazing what happens when a dog finds their true purpose. We love you, Pinkie!

Welcome to Xanadu Farm! 🌿✨

Life is busy when you’re managed by:
🐐 A herd of goats
🐓 A flock of chickens
🐏 A very special rescued sheep
🐈 One farm cat and one house cat
🐶 And our "Three Musketeers"—including two Great Pyrenees rescued from the Watauga Humane Society!

We love our mix of farm favorites and rescues. It’s loud, it’s fluffy, and it’s home. 🏡🌾

We just hired the cutest (and tiniest) pest control officer on the farm. 🐾

Oliver is currently learning the ropes indoors, but he’ll be patrolling the barns in no time! We choose paws over pesticides to keep our farm clean and chemical-free. 🚜✨

There’s "snow" way we could keep this a secret! ⛄

Santa’s sleigh might be in the air, but the real delivery happened right here in our nursery. We have new "kids" on the block! These little bundles of energy are definitely on the "nice" list this year (mostly because they’re too cute to be naughty yet).
