Look at these adorable new residents at Meade!

Barbershop and Sharky coming back from a neuter clinic at the SPCA in Kingston. Wonderful place working hard. They were transferred from NYCAC in rough shape, but Charlotte says they have been looking younger and younger since they arrived at MCR (Charlotte added that she wished the same was true of her, but we know she’s always gorgeous!)

She volunteers at the Saugerties Thrift Shop for the SPCA. Poopers journeyed from Sacramento Front st. to a new adventure! Thank you, Judy”

Video sent by Charlotte: Sampson being a happy dog. He ran into Muppet and passed by Mama Dulce who also needs a home and is a very sweet dog.. Sampson is Blind and mama dolce is Deaf so double the enjoyment of special needs dogs and take one of each.

2 adoption recently!
First was Max a Yorkie mix headed to New Jersey. We got him from an owner in the Bronx diverted from heading to the dog pound. So through NYACC. And the second was little Coco also from NYACC but found as a stray. Really old - he was our little worn out, but totally adorable teddy bear. Congratulations Max and Coco.

Our boy Dewey post neuter diverted via NYACC from owner in the Bronx who was very ill. He’s a 24 pound older mutt, very sweet would love a quiet home. Now ready to find his new person. Quiet, housetrained, good with cats and dogs. (He’s located with Charlotte in Wingdale. )

Incoming cuties! Two bonded LA Dogs Bubbles and Peewee who have been looking for a Ca home to no avail arrive Boston Logan 6:30 AM Wednesday flying with a kind Samaritan. Adopter of Lissa agreed to meet them at Logan at that ungodly hour and we’ll work out getting them to Wingdale.

Multiple adopter and benefactor, Atascadero resident Mary Bianchi, passed away last year from a sudden onset Glioblastoma. She meant the world to us and I think of her every day. Her husband, Jeff still supports the Thrift Shop and we think the world of him as well.

A special thank you to Mary for remembering Meade Canine Rescue in her estate plan, a generous gift we received recently.
