Today marks 2 years of H.W. Canine Design on Green Street!! 💗

Three years ago, when I was grooming out of my garage, I never imagined that I would be here. I’m not typically someone who talks about my accomplishments. Instead, I’m usually focused on what I could be doing better, what I still need to learn, and what the next goal is. But today, I want to take a moment to be proud of how far I’ve come.

Over the last two years, I’ve earned my AKC Professional Groomer/Coat Type Specialist certification, taken countless continuing education courses, entered my very first grooming competition, and stepped outside of my comfort zone. I’ve gotten to explore creative grooming in ways I never thought I could, hosted a successful community event last year, and even had the honor of being voted Montgomery County’s Best Pet Groomer of 2025. More than anything, I’ve had so many opportunities to learn, grow, and become more confident in both my grooming and my business.

The last two years haven’t been perfect. There have been challenges, mistakes, frustrating days, things that didn’t work, and plenty of moments where I wondered if I was actually doing enough. Owning a business has pushed me in ways I never expected, and I’ve had to learn a lot along the way.

I still have many goals. I still want to improve. I still want to become a better groomer, a better business owner, and continue finding new ways to grow. I don’t think I’ll ever stop striving to be better, and I hope I don’t.

Thank you to every client who has trusted me with their dogs, supported my business, recommended me to a friend, left a review, bought something I made, participated in an event, or simply cheered me on. You’ve all played a part in getting me here.

Here’s to many more years of raising the standard of grooming and loving your pups! 🐾❤️

So many cuties in the salon this week 💗 Soaking up the last of the summer vibes with some cute tie dye bandanas 🌞

I’ll be out of the salon for a weekend away, so I will be returning work calls, texts, emails, and messages on Tuesday, August 4, and I’ll be back in the salon on Wednesday, August 5. Thank you for your patience, and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend before back to school!! 📚

Calling all local businesses! 📢

I'm currently looking for raffle donations for this year's Howl-o-Ween party at Pike Place. This event is a family and dog friendly community event benefiting the Animal Welfare League Of Montgomery County Indiana. 🐾

I'm looking for businesses that would like to donate raffle baskets, raffle items, gift certificates, merchandise, or products to help make this year's raffle a success. Donations do not have to be a completed basket. Individual items are always appreciated!

Last year, thanks to the incredible support of our local community, we raised $1,000 for the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League through our raffle. My goal is to make this year's event even bigger while continuing to showcase the amazing businesses we have here in Montgomery County.

All donors will be recognized in advertizing, social media, and at the event.

Calling All Vendors & Volunteers! 👻🐾

Vendor applications are now open for our Annual Howl-o-Ween party at Pike Place in Crawfordsville on Saturday, October 17th! 🎃

This family and dog friendly community event benefits the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League and brings together pet lovers, local families, and small businesses for a fun afternoon of Halloween festivities.

We’re currently looking for:
🍔 Food & beverage vendors
🐶 Dog product vendors
🎃 Artisan vendors featuring Halloween/fall themed products
🧁 Bakery vendors
🎨 A talented face painter

We’re also looking for volunteers to help make the event a success! If you’d like to help hand out pre packaged candy to children and pre packaged dog treats to our four legged trick-or-treaters, we’d love to have you join us!
