We are very excited to be a member of the Crawfordsville - Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce! This membership will open the doors to many opportunities for our organization.

Welcome to our Chamber, Athens Saddle Club - Crawfordsville, IN.

Athens Saddle Club has been a Crawfordsville nonprofit organization since 1946. As of March 2026, the club is under new leadership. They are rebuilding and are excited to kick off a new chapter! Follow the Athens Saddle Club - Crawfordsville, IN page to stay up-to-date on activities and events that they will be hosting at their club, located at 701 E South Boulevard, Crawfordsville, IN.

We had a great time at the Crawfordsville Farmers Market yesterday. We loved speaking to everyone who stopped by to share stories and enthusiasm for the future!

On March 6, 2026 a group of us came together with one goal: Revive Athens Saddle Club. We hit the ground running. In the last 90 days we have made so much progress, and wow, is it exciting!

Athens is quickly becoming what it was! The barn is filling with new horses and members, the grounds is getting some TLC, and we are planning so many exciting things!

What all have we been able to accomplish in the last 90 days? Here’s a breakdown:

💧Code Brown Plumbing fixed a water line break in one of the barns.
💡 Blake’s Electric installed brand new lighting in the main barn (with plans to do the pole barn soon).
🌱 All pastures have been reseeded and are being mowed regularly to promote healthy growth.
🪚 The fence along the road has been rebuilt.
🚜 We have started reworking the arena to remove all grass/weeds and refresh the footing.
🛠️ We hosted a mini workday where we loaded up trash, deep cleaned both barns (stalls, bathrooms, and wash rack), and sprayed the driveway.
👷‍♂️ We had a historical assessment done on the original barn - it came back with great remarks on the stability and quality of the barn. There are a few minor things we will address (such as replacing a few stalls windows).
🐾 We have developed a relationship with the local Animal Control and shelter to better serve our community.
🪟 We replaced leaky windows on the club house/office.

👥🐴 And most importantly: We have welcomed many new members and new horses!

It’s has been a busy 3 months and we can’t wait to see what the next 3 months bring!

ASC is looking for volunteers to help us complete a few projects on June 15th from 4:00-7:00 PM.

‼️ATTENTION PAC Mid-West Rodeo Co. & Arena PARTICIAPANTS ‼️

Are you hauling horses in from out of town for the June 13th rodeo? Don’t want to make the trip home late at night?

⭐️ Athens Saddle Club - Crawfordsville, IN has the solution! ⭐️

We are offering overnight stays to all PAC participants for $25/night per horse/stall. We are a short drive from the PAC arena.
