Hey y'all, April here. I need to talk to you about something that's been hurting our shop and our girls — no-shows.
When someone doesn't show up for a grooming appointment, that spot just sits empty. We're rural, and we all know nobody can just leave the house and be here on a few minutes' notice. So that appointment can't be filled, and our ladies end up standing around with no grooms to do.
I want you to understand how that hits them: everyone at Country Cutz is paid hourly, but our groomers also earn commission on the grooms they do. A no-show doesn't just leave them with nothing to do — it takes money straight out of their pocket by killing their commission for that spot. That's money lost for them *and* for the shop.
Some shops make you prepay for your groom and keep the money if you no-show. We don't want to do that. Instead, we're asking this:
If you can't make your appointment, please call, text the shop, or cancel in the Cuddles app at least 24 hours ahead. That's all it takes, and it helps us all.
And listen — we understand life happens. If money's tight, the time doesn't work, or your schedule changed, just let us know. We will work with you. But a no-show with no call will be charged 50% of the grooming cost.
Our girls work hard for you and your pups, and they count on every appointment on their books. Thank you for respecting their time the way they respect yours. 💛
