I don’t usually bash a dogs condition because everyone lives a different lifestyle and life gets crazy but this is probably one of the worst I’ve worked on and I would like this to be a teaching moment as not everyone knows. This dog should have been a vet visit groom but I know he needed my help right then and there. When a dog is this matted it restricts blood flow to certain areas especially the ears. Once the mats are shaved out the dog continues to shake his head and breaks the blood vessels which cause hematomas. That was the case here. Among many other reasons this kind of matting is painful and unhealthy. Please take care of your babies 🥺.
