These two babies will be in loving foster care until November 8th, when they will be enrolled for adoption program through Beatrice Humane Society ❤️
Adoptions are available before then! Just pm to start the interrogation - I mean interview 😺😺

Thank you to all those who reached out to volunteer for fostering!! This month is going to be crazy with kittens so just hang in there, there will be plenty to go around! 😅

Round 10 BHS Bill paid!! 🥳
12 kittens were accepted for adoption and 46 cats received spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, de-wormer, flea treatment, and registered microchip for $2,185!
Payments for services (out-of-town fees, upgraded "cat packages") and donations for this round totaled $1,300 - leaving only a little over $800 for surgeries for Catr to absorb!
Hotel cost was $65 charged to Catr, and gas was covered by the donated gas card or personally by me, and food covered by me!

Thank you everyone for unrelenting support! Watch for Round 11 coming in early November 😎

Thank you James and Alexis and Grandpa Rich for helping me wash all these traps, kennels, and cages!! You guys are rock stars!! 🤩🤩
Those cages are stacked 2 in a row people! That's about 46 big traps, 6 little traps, 2 kennels, and 5 carriers!! That's a lot of work 💪

Watch out for these tatted kitties 😎
A tattoo on the belly is just another way to identify that the animal has been previously sterilized! This kitten was neutered but got a tat where a spay incision would be! So should he ever be swept up in TNR again, and mistaken for female, they'll see this mark when they clip him and know he's been done!
Of course the ear-tip and microchip should give that away 1st! But it never hurts to have more than 1 fail-safe!

15th St Tux has sobered up.. but is still not walking on all 4's. 😣
He will hold up his paw or rest it awkwardly as if it is still hurting. My guts tell me that he just needs a little more time to heal.. but my wallet tells me there's nothing left to spend but time.
All $280 that was donated for him was spent for his bandaging and care for bacterial infection ($190 initial visit at Stockaid, $90 for follow up - I could have had SIX cats spayed/neutered for that price) There is no more $ left for him.. and I'm not even sure if it's right to ask for more considering we may not know how far this hole goes.
He certainly is not interested in coming over to the friendly side. Having to run him in to the cat chute just to get a look at his paw really stresses him out.
I'm just overall uncertain what to do. He's been in captivity for 23 days. When I trapped him it was nearly 100 degrees outside. The seasons are changing and I don't want him to get left behind. But then again, I don't want to turn him out and rush it if all he needed was another week.

Interested in the perspective of others..
What should I do?
Thank you so much to the people who donated to him!! When I caught him, his paw was swollen up about 3x the size it should be with a nasty infection where it looks like some claws had been ripped out or severely damaged. After the antibios, wraps, and topical treatment, his swelling and infection it's gone- but still so is his ability to walk on it.

"Parker" was also dropped off a few days ago! Hes an all black male who needs attention CONSTANLY. He always wants to be held or in your lap! And hates being in his cage!
He will be needing fostered until Nov 8th! There's a couple homes available if nothing else works out... but they're a couple weeks out!
I'd prefer to find him a place sooner than later because BOY is he noisy 🥴🥴🥹
Looking for someone who has lots of time and love available for him and a lap with open vacancy!

Having kittens dropped off directly after cat week ... before I'm even unpacked ... is tough 🥴
It's so hard to hit the ground running with nearly 50 cages to clean, 20 loads of laundry, about 150 dishes, and 10 kennels to clean. Not to mention going back to work full time on top of my other animal duties.. like my own cats and horses, 15th Street Tux, Kintsugi, and more 🥴 plus I still have reports to type and stats to publish! It's a lot of work that I'm happy to do! But I'll be even happier when little Parker has found a home that can give him the attention he CRAVES!!

Little Rosie was dropped off yesterday to get some TLC before being sent for adoption in November ❤️🌹
She has a bit of eye boogers and some other creepy crawly friends internally and externally, but in only a week or 2 she will be ready for a foster home!
Hopefully there's plenty of fosters out there because there are going to be many more kittens to come in the next few weeks 🫂

Don't you dare think for a second I forgot about 15th Street Tux!
We had a great manicure session together yesterday thanks to ✨️drugs✨️😺
Tuxy zonked out on gabapentin made the bandage removal process so much more relaxing and enjoyable for everyone 💕
I was able to wash his paw and inspect that his toe has healed nicely! Once he sobers up and shows me he can walk on all 4's he'll be set free back home on 15th 🏡🐈‍⬛
