Swingin' D Horse Rescue Follow us also at The Healing Horse. Swingin' D Horse Rescue, Inc. (EIN #82-0797684) was founded in March of 2017.

Swingin' D Horse Rescue saves at-risk horses from the slaughter pipeline, nurses them to health and prepares them for Happily Ever After with responsible adopters. We bail horses in the slaughter pipeline or in danger of entering the slaughter pipeline, nurse them to health and match them with owners who will cherish them and make them feel useful. From slaughter to sanctuary...to Happily Ever After - SDHR is all about making dreams come true. We invest a minimum of $1,200 in each horse we rescue - regardless of the bail amount. Our horses are available for an adoption fee, which partially reimburses us and allows us to rescue more horses. We price them so they won't be flipped or resold for slaughter. We'll provide a receipt for your tax-deductible donation upon request. We are a 501(c)3 private foundation and an Oklahoma non-profit corporation.
