At what age does your pet become a senior? 🐾 Let us know what you think in the comments below!

You might be surprised to learn that it's earlier than you think!

They may still be running around, playing, and acting like puppies or kittens, but their healthcare needs start to change as they get older.

That's the value of routine exams and bloodwork. They allow us keep a closer eye on your pet's overall health and catch changes that aren't always noticeable at home.

We’ve been hinting at something new coming to Countryside, and we can finally share it! 💙

Beginning in November, we’ll be offering a NEW cancer screening test for dogs. With a simple blood draw, this gives us another way to be proactive about your dog’s health.

Leila is one of our dedicated Customer Service Representatives, and her love for animals and their owners shines through in everything she does. You can always count on being greeted with a smile and a friendly face when you walk through our doors.

Her attention to detail, thoroughness, and willingness to help are an important part of keeping our hospital running smoothly and making sure our patients and clients are well cared for.

November is Senior Pet Month, and we’re getting an early start! 🐾

Throughout November, we’ll be offering 15% off our Senior PAW Plans to help make staying on top of your pet’s annual care a little easier.

Our PAW Plans include annual vaccines, lab work, and HUGE savings — giving us the opportunity to look beyond how your pet seems to be feeling and keep a closer eye on their health as they get older.

And this year, we have something NEW coming to Countryside that we’re especially excited about. It’s another way for us to look a little deeper, be more proactive, and continue raising the standard of care we can offer our patients. 🩸

We’ll be sharing more about it next week!

To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Alayna and Kassidy, and their pups Benji and Fletcher, are here to remind you to "get those puppies checked!" But this time, we aren’t talking about the four-legged kind. 😉

To everyone facing breast cancer, celebrating a survivor, or remembering someone they love— we’re thinking of you. Our team will be wearing pink shirts on Fridays to show our support this month!

September flew by, but we can’t let it pass without recognizing our Employee of the Month, kennel tech Suzy! 💙

We’ve been busy here at Countryside Animal Hospital, and we have y’all to thank for that! Through it all, Suzy keeps our kennels and clinic clean, makes sure our boarding pets are fed, watered, and taken out for potty breaks, and helps our vet techs with appointments.

There’s always something to do, and we’re grateful for the care Suzy puts into it every day. Join us in congratulating her! 🐾

We had a great time at the Career Connections Expo at Meridian Park, hosted by Walton County Chamber of Commerce | Georgia and Walton Works!

More than 900 Walton County students came out to explore different career paths— and we put their veterinary knowledge to the test with a Jeopardy-style game featuring equine, canine, and feline trivia!

Of course, we brought prizes… and donuts. 🍩

We loved sharing our passion and the opportunities in veterinary medicine with the next generation! 💙
