Chrissy consistently demonstrates unwavering dedication, supporting our veterinarians, overseeing our assistants, and delivering outstanding nursing care to the pets in our care. Summer weather is here☀️
The next 4 days show temps in the 90s! 🌡️

🔥Heat stroke can occur quickly in pets and it is important to know the signs. Sadly, we have already seen a heat stroke case and the pet did not survive. It is a heartbreaking reminder that heatstroke is a true emergency and can happen fast.

Brachycephalic (flat faced) dogs are at an increased risk of heat stroke: bulldogs, boxers, frenchies, boston terries, pugs, etc. Older pets as well as obese pets are also at an increased risk.

- Limit time outdoors, especially during the hottest part of the day
- Restrict exercise
- Never leave pets in cars!

If you think your pet is experiencing heat stroke it is an emergency and you should seek veterinary care immediately! Every second counts. It is best to call ahead so we can be ready to treat your pet upon their arrival. 770-787-1581

If it is after hours, get to the closest veterinary ER, which for many will be East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic in Covington.

✨New clinic update! ✨

We are excited to share these progress photos with you! In the last 2 months we have gone from breaking ground to having the building structure! The construction team made a lot of progress over the last few days.

⚠️ We are excited to announce that we have upgraded our practice management software. This new system will allow us to better serve our clients and patients with improved communication, efficiency, and overall experience.

Today is our first day officially using the program. As with any new program, there may be a learning curve while our team adjusts to the transition. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time as we work through the changes and continue providing the best care possible for your pets.

This Memorial Day we remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, including our Military Working Dogs.🇺🇸 🐾

We are closed today and will return open tomorrow 5/26 at 8am. We hope your pet does not need after hours veterinary care, but in the event they do, please refer to our Memorial Day Pet Safety post for several options of 24 hour facilities.
