New Building Update! 🐾

Things are really coming along! We are getting closer to opening the doors of our new state-of-the-art veterinary facility, and we’re excited to share the progress with you!

✨ The exterior has been painted and the gutters are installed
✨ The kennel area has received its first coat of paint
✨ The beautiful wooden beams in the lobby have been installed
✨ Drywall is finished
✨ Sprinkler systems are in place
✨ Wiring for the security system and interior/exterior cameras are complete

And now… lights and ceiling tiles are going in

We can’t wait to welcome you and your pets through the doors! 🐾❤️

🏗️ New Clinic Construction Update!

We’re excited to share another progress update on our new veterinary clinic! Since our last update, our building has really started to take shape.

Here’s what’s been completed:
✅ Siding
✅ Roofing
✅ Windows and exterior doors
✅ Sheetrock
✅ Electrical work
✅ Plumbing

Current progress includes:
🔹The exterior stone is nearly complete.
🔹Insulation has begun.
🔹Choosing the stain for the beautiful front wooden beams and selecting the perfect exterior paint color.

We are so grateful for your patience, encouragement, and excitement as we build a clinic designed to serve our community for many years to come.

We can’t wait to share more updates with you as construction continues! 🐾

It’s National Ice Cream Day 🍦 Let’s celebrate with a dog safe recipe for Ice Cream Bites!

Did you know that after puppies are weaned dogs no longer produce the enzyme needed to break down cows milk or other dairy products? Dairy can be high in fat and sugar which can lead to gastrointestinal upset. Using fat-free Greek yogurt makes this recipe safer for our dogs. If you choose peanut butter as a mix in ensure the ingredients do not have xylitol, which is toxic to pets! Natural peanut butter with only peanuts as the ingredient is ideal.

As always, treats should be fed in moderation! If your dog has a sensitive stomach it would be best to stick with treats they are used to and consult with your veterinarian before trying this recipe.

We hope you have a fun and safe holiday weekend! Please remember to keep pets safe and secure during fireworks.

🇺🇸 Holiday Reminder: Our clinic is closed today in observance of Independence Day.

If your pet experiences an emergency while we are closed, please contact your nearest veterinary emergency clinic.
Options include but are not limited to:
East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic in Covington
Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists in Decatur
UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Athens
We recommend calling ahead so they can best assist you. Some facilities may be at capacity with the holiday weekend.
