Honey needs a foster home ASAP.

This sweet 7 month old girl has been patiently waiting, but without a foster, our options become very limited. Honey is a Pit Bull Terrier/Chihuahua mix who is dog friendly, cat friendly, and loves people. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she’s an affectionate cuddle bug.

Honey is fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped, spayed, current on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and up to date on preventative care.

Fostering is completely free. Forgotten Felines Rescue provides all food, supplies, and medical care. All you provide is a safe place for Honey to stay while she waits for her forever family.

Fosters are our most valuable resource. Without them, we can’t continue saying yes to animals in need.

If you can help Honey, please apply today:

Please share. Honey’s future depends on finding a foster home. ❤️

People often see the cute adoption photos. They don’t always see this part.

Every bowl on this table is made for a specific cat. Medications, supplements, prescription diets, probiotics, fiber, appetite stimulants, special additives, syringe feedings, and whatever else that individual cat needs to stay healthy and continue healing.

What looks like a table full of cat food is actually hours of work.

Many of the cats in our care aren’t simply waiting for homes. They’re recovering from illness, gaining weight, managing chronic conditions, healing from injuries, or receiving treatment that gives them a chance at the happy, healthy future they deserve.

We know it can be frustrating when you don’t get an immediate response to your text, email, or Facebook message. The reality is that this is what our days often look like.

Forgotten Felines Rescue is entirely volunteer run. Our officers all have full time jobs, and when we’re at the rescue, our priority is the animals already in our care. Feeding, medicating, cleaning, monitoring, vet appointments, intake evaluations, laundry, litter boxes, and everything in between takes up the majority of our time.

So if it takes us a little while to get back to you, please know we’re not ignoring you. We’re probably standing at a table just like this one, making sure a cat gets the care they need.

Rescue is so much more than adoptions. It’s the behind-the-scenes work that happens every single day, whether anyone sees it or not.

And thanks to our volunteers, fosters, donors, and supporters, we’re able to keep showing up and doing it.

If you’ve ever wondered how you can help, we’re always looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team. Whether it’s helping with daily care, cleaning, feeding, socializing cats, events, or transport, every helping hand makes a difference.

**Olivia and Esha still available**

Meet our little singers

They are a mixed bunch of orphan babies. They may not share the same mom but they do share the same passion of yelling…uhhh singing…when a human is near..😅

We can only assume they are practicing their daily vocal performance in hopes of winning a Grammy one day. They will even serenade you choir style at dinner time. We would never discourage their dreams and we hope their future families would do the same.

Besides singing…they have also gained other hobbies like kamikazing into your body, eating human hair, and being EXTREMELY addicted to churros. Clearly a gateway drug. Baby Olivia may need rehab in the future…but that’s showbiz for you 🤩

Bella Kay - 7 week female black with white tail tip
Alex Warren - 7 week male solid black
Olivia Dean - 6 week female blue tabby and white
Esha Tewari - 8 week female brown tabby

These babies are looking for loving homes where they can continue their music careers and churro habit…

If you’re into the ultimate VIP experience or simply enabling addiction, send us a message to apply!

**PAPIER MACHE STILL AVAILABLE**

Meet our newest little “masterpieces” and definitely not little genetic abnormalities.

Named after folded paper art, these four 9 week old Scottish Fold sisters are equal parts adorable and psychotic. They spend their days climbing up human limbs, perfecting dramatic stares, and singing the songs of their people.

Origami - tortie with tail
Paper Airplane - tortie with tail
Papier Mache - tortie manx
Filigree - torbie manx

They’re looking for homes prepared for endless kitten antics with just a touch of judgmental staring.

If you’re interested in adopting one of these tiny paper creations, please send us a message for application information and adoption details.

🎸The band is back together 🎸

These tiny rockstars are finally ready to leave the garage and headline their forever homes. The members (aka the kittens) are 6 weeks and their manager (aka mom) is 8 months. They’ve spent the last few weeks causing trouble backstage, demanding snacks in their dressing rooms, and perfecting their synchronized zoomies. They collect groupies in the rescue window and love putting on a show for their fans.

Florence Road - brown tabby female
McCafferty - calico female
Flipturn - orange male
Hippo Campus - brown tabby male
Buffalo Traffic Jam - fluffy orange male
Hot Mulligan - fluffy orange male

Each kitten has their own personality, but all of them are playful, social, and ready to tour your living room at 3am.

If you’re looking for a deadbeat roommate with terrible boundaries and excellent vibes, one of these babies might be your perfect match.

The last few weeks have been very up and down in the rescue. We have had daily requests for help, resulting in difficult decisions and focusing only on those most in need.

Among those cases were two dumped brothers found with flea collars wrapped tightly around their chests. Their eyes were squeezed shut and both were at high risk for toxicity concerns due to the collars. They were still crawling with fleas and suffering from severe flea anemia. Their gums were pale white and they were cold to the touch.

It took two hours for them to reach our rescue and by the time they arrived, they were nearly lifeless. The white brother was open mouth breathing and unresponsive.

We immediately did everything we could to warm them and stabilizing their glucose levels. After about an hour, both kittens were finally able to lift their heads and were warm enough for subq fluids and a Dawn bath.

The brothers remained in our warming incubator with round the clock care, syringe feedings, nebulizer treatments, and daily medications. White brother made small improvements while orange brother responded more positively to treatment.

On day 7 in our care, white brother declined rapidly and was humanely euthanized due to the severity of his condition.

Orange brother is still fighting and getting stronger every day. It took nearly 11 days for him to fully unclench his eyes. He still is not eating on his own yet, but he eats like a champ from his syringe. His breathing has become more controlled and he is finally able to regulate his body temperature.

The improvements may seem small, but we could not be prouder of this little boy. We are still working on controlling his potential incontinence but we have high hopes for him.

Every day he waits at the opening of his incubator for visits from his friend, Opal. He follows her around and they even play together. We are hopeful he will continue improving and eventually be healthy enough to have a kitten buddy of his own so he is not alone.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our efforts this kitten season. Because of your support, kittens like these brothers were given a chance.

‼️DONATIONS NEEDED‼️

🐾 Kitten Season is Here… and so are the medical emergencies. 🐾

Right now our rescue is overflowing with tiny babies needing urgent care — bottle babies, severe eye infections, broken legs, malnutrition, and kittens who simply would not survive without our help.

Kitten season can be adorable… but the reality is that it’s exhausting, heartbreaking, and incredibly expensive.

We are asking for help to continue treating our medical cases and giving these babies a chance.

Current cases:
- 4 week old kitten with a ruptured eye
- 12 week old kitten with an adhered 3rd eyelid
- 11 year old cat with severe ulceration of the cornea
- 4 week old kitten with a broken femur
- 5 week old kitten with a broken femur
- 5 week old kitten with head trauma (exposed skull)
- 5 week old kitten with severe toxicity from flea products (sibling did not make it)

Upcoming procedures:
- two kittens in need of single enucleation
- two kittens in need of leg amputations
- senior cat in need of enucleation

FOSTER NEEDED

Meet Honey - a 7 month old Pitbull Terrier/Chihuahua mix with the softest soul and so much love to give.

Honey is the kind of dog who quietly sneaks her way into your heart. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a little patience and kindness and suddenly you’ve got a full blown cuddle bug glued to your side. She loves attention, loves snuggles, and would really love a safe place to land while she waits for her forever home.

She does great with other dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to most homes. Honestly, Honey’s biggest crime is just being a little too timid in a loud world.

Honey just needs someone willing to give her a chance to decompress, feel safe, and learn what it’s like to be loved.
